This photo was just posted on the Messenger's Facebook page with sketchy details of a man who apparently jumped/fell/whatever off the Big Sandy Bridge between Decatur and Bridgeport.
Edit: Wow. The Messenger now says it was a Jeffrey Curry of Fort Worth. I wonder if it is the same Jeffrey Curry who the subject of this story!:
Edit: And a man of the same name an age was arrested in December in Fort Worth for forgery.

The LAPD has decided that they will not pay the reward since the suspect was not "captured" but died instead....that believe it or not gives credibility to that rogue's cop story...

being close to a friend at the Sheriffs' Office, I am told that the Sheriff has issued an order to his investigators to look into the fall. He reportedly told the investigators that the fall sounded a little fishy. He told them also that EMS did what there are to do as the guy was complainaig of back pain. I assume that if the guy is not telling the truth, he will get a pretty heafty bill for all the S.O. and Wise COunty EMS crews. Not to mention a helicopter ride to Ft. Worth.
Someone needs to show him the spillway bridge out at the lake!
