Another Alvord Tragedy (With A Note)
"Barry, if you have not heard, and for reasons not yet released, an incoming AHS freshman girl took her life early this morning. She did leave a note. She is from a family of limited means that do not have the funds to provide a funeral. Those . . . associated with the school are trying to come up with some way to assist the family . . . . I immediately thought of [this blog]. If you can think of a tactful way to alert the masses, anyone who would want to contribute financially may contact the Alvord ISD Administration

The Alvord ISD should put a Pay Pal chip in on their website, if they have one. I would contribute, but will need their website.
I have wanted to die since I was 10 years old. I am over 60 now. I can tell you this feeling never leaves you. Even though I have had happy times and raised a family there is a sadness that never leaves you. Only my faith in God has kept me from committing suicide. I have prayed for God to help me my whole life and he has gotten me through it, but I still cannot shake the sadness in my heart. I pray God has mercy on her soul, but a life lived with such sadness is not worth living. I believe God understands her and will welcome her home.
I know the folks at Jones Family Funeral Home helped someone at my office who had this happen with a younger sibling and the family didn't have the means for a funeral. I know it's not Alvord but thought it was worth mentioning. They were treated very well. Please keep us posted on helping.

doesn't know anything about it, but said that they thought that Legend Bank of Alvord (110 Franklin St. 76225) was taking up a fund. I tried to call them at9 40.427.5575, but no one answered.
Dang it, I'm trying. Let's all try to kick in $20, okay?

That is so sad about another young person from Alvord. I hope a site gets up where people can contribute.
Alvord needs a border fence along the tracks.

The memorial is at an Alvord church, and there was no plea for funds, so I guess they gathered enough money to send her off. Hope so.
A fundraiser is being organized. Funds are still needed. Thank you.
