1;56 I live near Chico and I enjoy jokes about it...but....This fire was not a matter to joke about. Chico Auto Parts served a lot of families. They did a good job and were cheaper than the big dealers in Decatur. They employed a lot of good citizens that contributed to their community. If you had a wreck in Wise County at three o"clock in the morning chances are owner Terry Hand was there with a wrecker to bail you out. When a good business suffers a loss like this juvenile jokes are just not that funny. Be glad it was'nt your house or business and have a good thought or two for the ones affected here. Walt Partin

Alvord needs Jesse James to keep the railroad in line.

I have yet to see the rail companies do "operation lifesaver" in Wise County.
Suggestion to local residents: stay away from the railroads' private property (their track right-of-ways) and many more of you may live longer.
As for the fire in Chico - was this an urban renewal project?
