I'm not a music guy. At all. But in my younger days I was a huge Journey fan. It's the only band I paid to go see three times in Reunion Arena.
The band's lead singer, Steve Perry, was at the World Series and can be seen at about the 1:00 minute mark singing along with "Don't Stop Believing". The second part of the video catches him on the big screen singing "Lights."
Good times. I'm getting all nostalgic up in here.

I'm a longtime, diehard Rangers fan, but that was cool! No big entourage, no gold chains, just a guy in his team's colors who is cheering for his team, and just happens to be one of the great rock-n-roll singers of all time! It's hard not to like the Giants and their fans. And besides, I can be happy with the fact that the Rangers just got to the World Series! Except for some of the morons who are commenting on the DMN and FWST blogs, I've heard that this is a Series between two teams with very cordial fans, unlike all those East Coast fans (Yankers, Phils, etc.).
