"It's A Cookbook!!!!"

Story.

(And my headline is from an old Twilight Zone episode which I doubt many of you have seen.)

Edit: This made Paul Harvey this morning although he confusingly referred to it as Stephensville, and ended the story, oddly, with "After all, that is the Bible Belt."

not that this means anything, but I live in Aledo (45 mins from Stephenville) and a few days ago I saw an AWAC http://rides.webshots.com/photo/1496974228057364373dxiXvF flying really low. Something about it struck me so odd that i grabbed my cell phone and unsuccessfully tried to take a picture.

In 1973, we lived on a 200 acre farm in the Stephenville area. After returning home from a movie with our four children, we saw a low flying object hovering low to the ground. It made no sound. I was sitting on the corner of my bed near the glass doors that led out on a covered porch. I looked down and a small round red light was on my leg just above my knee. My husband saw the light. Later, I learned about laser beams.

The object was reported by many in the area. I think the area is a testing site for new aircraft or they are aliens spying on peanut farms and dairy herds!

What did the "Bible belt" comment crap mean? Do you honestly think the 'end times' was the subject of debate in the local coffee shops after this sighting?

UFO= Unidentified Flying Object.
Does not mean aliens from other planets.
It means that there is an object that you can't identify period.

Now, Beam me up Scotty

Back in the late 60's, here in Gawd's country, a family came back from a few days vacation and found a round burned spot in their yard. Also, the husband had left some fishing tackle in the kitchen sink, an aluminum sink, and the fishing tackle had been welded to it.

I saw this myself, it was reported to the news, various people came to investigate and even a class of students from UNT came up and examined everything.

I and the surviving family members still believe a UFO landed there! What else could it have been?

"Mr. Death" with Robert Redford was a pretty good episode.

Was the burned patch over the septic tank?

I would bet on a lightening strike.
