This youtube.com clip is showing up everywhere over the last 24 hours. It's some girl named Stacy Hedger who is competing in some pagent somewhere. (Good facts, huh?) Anyway, she is "playing" the Star Wars theme on a trumpet and spices it up midway with a little Charlie Chaplain dance. Good stuff.

that may be the stupidest thing I've seen all week ... and I know stupid. Maybe her dance was to distract from how out of tune her playing was. It all sounded like "Born Free" to me. Thanks for the Friday laugh.
Do any of her clothes fall off during the performance?
also sounded like an offset version of the Dallas theme song...OMG..shoot me for watching!
And she won the talent section, right? I gotta say she has guts to get up there and play that thing so badly, and then top it off with that dancing or acting or whatever that was. That was good for a laugh.
I hope to goodness you are being sarcastic with the "Good Stuff" comment. That was the most pathetic "thing" I have seen in some time. You're scaring me.
I love the title, Barry. "Another US American"...priceless. She was incredibly awful!
Courageous or clueless?
I have to choose the later. I would rather face a firing squad than make that big a fool of myself on stage.
THAT was a soooo very PATHETIC, I was sooo embarrassed for her I could NOT watch the entire clip.
That is not a Charlie Chaplin dance. That is a droid dance. duuuuuuuuuuh.

Dorky Dorkmeister.
Did the horn sound way off tune, or was it just me? As in, she really couldn't play the trumpet, and shouldn't use that as her "talent." Also, what freakin year is that? Surely not 2-double-oh-7.
"Ring the gong! Ring the gong!"

I'm pretty sure she's already killed herself. She just about killed me.
mzchief, funny, that's how I felt about Tom Cruise jumping on that couch.
As ridiculous as this looks today, there was a time in the late 70s when that little performance made perfect sense.
Heck, I can remember to this day listening to a jazzed up version of the star wars theme song on 45s on the record player over and over and over agin.
"She should have been Mark Cuban's dance partner. I'd still be in the competition."

Poor little blonde girl, she dances better than she plays.
That was so sad, if I were her mother, I would have scratched my name off of her birth certificate.
9:51, I agree...the music was conjuring up J.R. Ewing for me, and then the clone trooper blasters lit up....
And, with that getup, the video had to be from the '80's, right?
