I think I'd vote for Ron Paul over the rest of those pre-programmed robots. Heck, I might vote for Ron Paul over anyone.

Can't Believe . . .

Ron Paul has the best insight for our country, better policy for our government, and really wants to turn things around for the American people. Read his webpage, listen to his videos. He is the man our families will be voting for in 2008. I hope people will do research before just voting for anyone. If not, that's a wasted vote. JMO
Ron Paul is regarded as a libertarian nut. The Republicans in Congress ignore him all the time. The problem is, he speaks more common sense than any of the other Republican candidates. It's a shame the media and the people don't give him a more serious listen.
His constant emails drive me crazy.

Ron Paul is coming across as very truthful - something we just aren't used to with the other blah blah power grabbers.
This guy has guts. The others - Dems and Repubs are all saying the same boring things candidates have spewed for years.
Paul is a breath of fresh political air.
I'm ok with his Iraq policy, but the idea of denying citizenship to children born in this country to legal parents is a little right-wing, Ann Coulter for me.
I took this quiz (I have a post about it on my site, too), and I matched very closely to Dennis Kucinich, the King of Munchkinland with the stripper-esque wife. It's a good way to see who you really match up to on issues, and not just who you like.
Also, the Candidates and Issues Matrix on msnbc.com is a good way to read (and rate) the candidates' platforms.
I think it is time for a woman president.
I may vote in the Repub primary just to vote for Ron Paul. But then again I'm half libertarian.

How many of you remember a single president in the last 50 years that did what he said he'd do?
Can you name any?
How many have come into office with a laundry list of promises that wind up never happening and then we all sit around whinning that the SOB lied to us one more time like all the past did?
How many leave or are about to leave office amid a trail of broken promises,increased debt,needless wars,scandal etc. etc.
The political machine is a malignant cancerous growth and Dr. Ron Paul or whoever isnt' going to save it.
I hope he wins because it won't be long until you all will look like kids that woke up on Christmas morning with nothing under the tree.

In our household, we will only vote for the Demoncrat who is on the ticket.
We might like to vote independent, but those candidates will have no chance to win. I learned that the hard way when Kinky was running, and Governor Good Hair won. I should have voted for the demon candidate. If Jebus himself came back to earth and ran for President on the Republican ticket, I wouldn't vote for him.
