Spppppaaaaarrrrre

I don't know why Rudy gets under my skin, but I just think he's a huge fraud. Just like when this "impromptu" phone call from his wife came in as he was addressing the NRA. There's nothing worse than a candidate that thinks you're stupid. Rudy thinks you're stupid.

Every politician in office or running for office thinks the voters are stupid. (And, for the most part, they are correct) Some are just better at hiding it than others.

The ballots for the 08 election will have two choices, Republican or stupid.

I cannot put my finger on it but I just do NOT like Giuliani. However, Romney scares me just a 1/2 measure less than Clinton and Obama as far as being a social architect and social architects scare the pudding out of me MORE than creepy old men like Rudy. That just leaves the "Johns," McCain and Edwards.

Rudy Giuliani is a spinless, cluesss showman posing as a politician who will continue to milk Sept. 11 for the rest of his life for his personal as well as political gain.

He has no personal claim to fame and simply happened to be at the wrong place at the right time and wasn't very timely showing up after the attack.

Politicians are well educated people who look at the general public as backwoods idiots who's only purpose is to get them elected so they can make huge amounts of our money without regard to what it will do to us finacially.

How could they care, their income is so far above the cost of living they aren't affected by the laws they pass.

We are idiots because we believe that with each passing election there will come an honest candidate that will save us all and do the things we want but sadly this just isn't going to ever happen.

Faces change but actions and policy doesn't and in fact can't because once they get elected, they are cuaght up in the beauricratic machine and must play the game as everyone before and after them will have to do.

It's a sad fact that all we ever do is replace one self serving liar with another and then we all bitch about what a sad POS this guy is when he doesn't do one thing he promised.

Politicians try to appeal to the masses. However, the masses are asses.

Weird, I've read a few blogs that can't seem to decide whether that was spontaneous or not.

That was the first I'd seen the video and it seems clear to me--it was not.

He guesses it was his wife and says "Hello dear" immediately without even looking to see.

At a minimum he planned to take that call during a speech. That's lame.

Your opinion could be skewed; you probably think Hillary is real.

9:26 - best post of the lot.

So true on all points.

My take on Giuliani - he's stuck on himself, ugly and probably tied in with the New York Mafia family.

3:40PM - it's happened before. I guess it's just Rudy's way of letting us know he's a family man. But, I tend to agree with you that it was staged.

MzCreep - maybe it's because he was knighted by your Queen? There is some question about his being constitutionally able to run for President because of that, but the defenders are saying he did not hold public office at the time.

He's just a creepy, frumpy little man that I just can't see running our country......just another poor example of how delusional most politicians must be to even attempt to run for such a position.

TO 5:29...
I have NO queen. I was born at St. Mary's Hosptial in London, England and spent many years growing up in England. However, BOTH of my parents were citizens of the United States at the time of my birth. My father was career Army. Due to the fact I spent a goodly portion of my childhood on U.S. military bases propably makes me more red, white and blue than YOU. Do you PROPERLY display a flag at YOUR home or even bother to do such on U.S. national holidays? I thought NOT.
