Watched some of the Cowboys-New Orleans game tonight. But what followed on ESPN SportsCenter made me roll my eyes:
Announcer: "This man is bringing tremendous excitement to the Saints and he'll get a lot of touches this year."
Announcer #2: "You hold your breath every time."
All of that while this graphic was displayed. Heck, I could get 1.8 yards a carry.

Maybe one day the Cowboys will once again be able to beat the Saints when it's not practice. It's been 12 years since the Cowboys last beat them in the RS.
At least Reggie Bush was in the game. The vast majority of commentary was reserved for a player who didn't even play. Hell he wasn't even in the Stadium.
I find it interesting that they used the term "touches"--that's a soccer term!! (Maybe its popularity IS growing--the commentators are usings its terminology!)
Go Soccer!
Bush was by far more effective when he DIDN'T touch the ball! The defense dogged him while other players made the plays.

Yawn, yawn...yawn. I love your blog Barry, but the football sh%t makes me want to take a nap. If your going to post so much about football...could you include some sexy pics of the players? It will keep the ladies interested.
