It's just one person arrested under all of their stolen identies.
I talked to a friend of mine from the Wise County Jail. they called me collect needing Barry's telephone number. I guess Barry is a good lawyer, a lot of people in the jail are needing him to go by. My friend said that the Sheriff is serving a lot of warrants. He is an ass, it is Christmas@!
...4:56 - the sheriff is what?...kinda like the kid - unlike the previous sheriff, this one doesn't seem to be quoted in the newspaper every week......looks like he's just tendin' to business.....
I spoke with the Sheriff a minute ago about what was going on. I asked about my friend, and he told me to tell her to get a bondsman. I went to school with the Sheriff and when I told him that he should help me, he laughed........I guess I have to pay BIG money to get her out.......Told you he was an ASS
Interesting though, people that have done nothing illegal seem somehow to be avoiding arrest and having their Christmas ruined. Imagine that.
Good God, how dare the Sheriff do his job!! (Let's pray the ones this is directed at can pick up on the sarcasm...)
From looking at the S.O. website a lot of the "alleged" offenders are quite young, hopefully they will learn a lesson if they don't die first, the older ones that have been there and done that before should receive the maximum penalty!!! Got to admit, if you're an attorney or a bonding company this kind of round-up is good for business!!! Merry Christmas!!!
Who cares if it is Christmas. They screw up and shouldn't get to be with their family. It is their own fault that they would have a warrant or whatever. Cry me a river. GREAT JOB to the Wise County S.O. and others involved. At least the scum is being removed from the street and not stealing, selling dope or breaking into your home for Christmas. May they enjoy their new Holiday home at the Wise County Jail. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!
I say Kudos to the Sheriff and the DA's office. Both seem to be working hard to make our kids safer! The message here appears to be: "Don't sell Dope in Wise County if you want to be home for the Holidays!"
Well this will certainly be the last battle on the War On Drugs. (Can the troops be called off now?)
I called the Jail this morning at 4:30 and asked if I could leave a message for the Sheriff. A lady said, he is here, you can talk to him. He said "this is just the beginning!" GREAT JOB SHERIFF, lets watch the prosecution!
I agree with anon 10:46. My dad is one of these idiots getting picked up on Christmas and gives makes my sister and I a sigh of relief atleast we know were he is. Out of sight out of mind.
the sheriff an ass? how about your friend being an ass for being in trouble to begin with you? you just know your next, baby...just keep listening for the knock at the door. what'cha gonna do when they come for you?who cares if its just days befor christmas? crime dont take a break. dont break the law, moron, and stay away from the crack.
To the person who thinks the Sheriff is an ass for doing what he is sworn and expected to do by the people of this county...Those are the very people who sell to your kids and burlarize your home and steal your gifts and other valuables to support their habits without so much as a care in the world for what you think. When they all bond out,why don't you pick them all up and go celebrate Christmas at you place.
Very well said, last anon. Clap, clap, clap!
abon at 1:22 -- they don't understand waht you are saying because A) they are the criminals and sp they don't sell to themselves, or B) those being arrested are their kin folks so they al already valuaed customers and don't feel the pain.
Hopefully this is just the begining of law enforcement's push to clean up this county. To those that weren't caught this time, your next. I hope.
I recall some earlier blogger citing the large amount of "meth use" in Wise Co. He was rebuked by some ill-informed responder. Apparently, the sheriff is doing his job by rounding up SOME of these cruds. Now, let's hope the prosecutor will start doing her job and actually get the bum’s into jail.
Bet there won't be that big of a crowd at a little seafood place in Decatur or a place at the lake on karoke night, KUDOS!!!!
Glad ya'll like the new sheriff - every county needs one. But, someone please remind me about one of your other ones - I think he trapped guys in the rest stop on 287 for indecent exposure, or was it that he was gay? What was his name? Is he still in jail? No, wait, that was a Montague County Sheriff - he was gay (a pedophile), but somehow your new Sheriff's name rings a bell with me - hope he's not kin to the Montague County ex-Sheriff. Trust but verify. I applaud their war on meth tho.
You know, I was going to respond to the last comment with anger and hatred toward the person that wrote it. But after a little thought I realize that he (or she) is probably a relative of one of the most recent arestees. It is about time that area law enforcement gets off it's butt and does something. Lets continue foward.Good job David!
WALKER, AND THE WISE COUNTY SHERIFF"S DEPARTMENT KICK ASS!!!KEEP IT UP, PEOPLE WILL LEARN, "DONT SCREW WITH WISE COUNTY!"
Dashing through the dope,In an old piece of crap,Selling to the kids,Oh what fun it is, To reap in the dough,Until a knock comes,On the scums front door,Who might it be? Should I hide and see,Holy smokes, it's the cops,What did they see?I hope they didn't see,All of my money,Someones kicking in the door,I must run from thee,Oh they caught me,Now I'm on my way,To one place I hate to stay,The Wise County Jail,I hope some one will post my bail,I hate my tiny cell,I guess I get three meals,I am on my way to the pen,Please bond me again,I am a dope scum,Ruining everyone's fun,And all it was, was crack,Eating at my skin,I don't know how they found out,I guess I should've known,I was selling to the cops again,I did it all for money, Not caring who it hurt,So now I sit and rot,Wanting to go home,But I can't make my bond!!!Don't forgive the dopers, send them to the pen!!
