Triple Uh Oh

"HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania (AP) -- 'Intelligent design' [that Adam and Eve thing] cannot be mentioned in biology classes in a Pennsylvania public school district, a federal judge said Tuesday, ruling in one of the biggest courtroom clashes on evolution since the 1925 Scopes trial."

This is really getting on my nerves! If all them athiests can make a scene and ruin our lives(the majority of all the people in this country is Christian, so why must we cater to the athiest?)And don't give me that crap that we Christians shove the Bible and God down your throat! We have not done any such thing! You can attack me all you want on this blog (and I know it is coming too!) But you ain't gonna take Christmas out of my life! I don't think the Jews mind Christmas because that is where they get there money at the julerey store! Lots of people get jewelery for Christmas! If you don't like having Merry Christmas in WalMart, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Most of the people that go to walmart are Chirstians, so why change that? Because all of those athiests are ruining Christmas! Winin' about everything that has to do with Jesus or God! If you don't like just ignore it! It isnt putting you in danger is it? Then keep your mouth shut and let everybody else enjoy it. Stop being so selfish. You might say that we are being selfish, but it is Christmas time no matter what and most people like it! So MERRY CHRISTMAS!

You know, Hitler had the intellectuals killed so that they wouldn't raise questions during the Great Cleansing. Now, our schools are wanting to take Intelligent Design, not to mention CHRISTmas from their curriculum?

The people sleep...and I say, with you, Anons at 11:07 & 11:24, Merry Christmas! Say a prayer for those little kids learning about the birds, the bees, the Monkey & Me.

A few years ago I was taking college Biology and was fortunate enough to have a professor who did not believe in Darwinism or evolution. At the beginning of the term he stated we would not be covering it because he found nothing scientifically supporting those theories.

I question that education.

I question your a** 2:13!

Well I am a Christian and proud of it, but I do not believe the majority of this country is Christian, I mean the proof is in the pudding so to speak.

BSG it is not a Adam and Eve thing! it's a God thing! Everyone will live forever but only the ones who put their faith in Jesus has Eternal Life! there is a big difference!

Jesus said to love one another if every believer would have a awesome relationship with Jesus 24/7 not just on Sundays you would have the love of Jesus flowing out of you and people would run to you to get saved! why? becasue they would want what you have!

So lets go give them Heaven!!!!

As a Christian who used to take evolution at face value (without really thinking about it), I began questioning evolution as a matter of science. Darwin applied a very valid observation--called "Natural Selection" where a species can change appearance over time due to environmental pressure (but still remain the same species)--and (over?) applied it to the point where this "pressure" would create new species! All well and good in the late 1800s and early 1900s. But along comes modern science and basically refutes the ability of environment and time to create new species--the discovery of RNA, DNA, etc. (heck, that earlier monk Gregor Mendel laid the groundwork in his study of inherited characteristics). You are either a species or you are not--regardless of environmental pressure or time. Those do not affect (barring mutations) DNA. Think about it--I don't think you even need to go to a faith-based argument in order to question evolution. The problem nowadays is this--any attempt to question evolution becomes labeled as a religious argument, when that really is not so. Its about time that brutally honest scientists begin to question the 1800s "science" that is the whole foundation of evolution--and that movement is afoot.

What in the world are you talking about? haha

Hey Barry, isn't that the painting of God telling Adam to pull his finger? I'm pretty sure that's where that all got started.

You crack me up!

What 3:19 is talking about is this. Let's quit trying to attack a bad 1800-something scientific theory (evolution) on the basis of religion. Shoot it down with up-to-date science! Its about time scientists quit their knee-jerk reaction to someone questioning evolution (i.e. thinking they are only arguing "religion"). Look at it from a scientific point of view. Evolution totally ignores everything we now know about DNA.

We are all under God's cover. Until we choice to remove it be denying him as athiests do. Christians stand your ground. Stay in the Word for that will be your Salvation. Once God's cover is removed. That will leave an opening for you know who and he came to steal, kill and destory. As for me, I'll stick to having an abundant life. God Bless and Merry Christmas!

"Creationism", "Intelligent Design"...whatever label one chooses, has not been taught in schools in a very long time. So, this ruling is really just stating that fact out loud. Actually, I've taken a couple of Biology classes at the high school and college levels...evolution was scarcely mentioned in the context of where we/the world originated from. So, why all the hostility...especially from those claiming to be Christians. No wonder others become so defensive and are quick to debunk our beliefs.

There is no such thing as intelligent design. Just look at the comments posted here and know that any "intelligent" designer would not let these terminally flawed beings out of the shop.

3:08 - how funny - the "majority" of this country "isn't" Christian.

..ok, just what group put George W. Bush into office?

Anonymous said...

The mentally retarded.

The credibility of intelligent design is hurt most by what has evolved on the judicial benches of this country.

Pathetic! The massive level of ignorance of science demonstrated by most of these posts boggle the mind. I can only hope there is some silent intelligence silently lurking in Wise Co to counter these inadequately enlightened individuals.

You may believe whatever religious tenets you like. You may wish whomever you like a "Merry Christmas". But don't confuse "faith" with "science". “Intelligent Design” is a cover for Christian teaching. Evolution is a scientific theory that is endorsed by most all serious scientists of all faiths – worldwide.

Hey anon 5:08 - there are plenty of us out here - we're just afraid someone will shoot us, or fire us if we express our opinions, which is a dangerous thing to be doing these days....since the junior got elected. I do pray, think positively, cross my fingers, whatever, for all of us these days.
