Two Sports Notes

I hate the NBA but couldn't help but notice that Kobe Bryant scored 62 points against the Mavericks last night and he didn't even play in the fourth quarter! I hate MLB but couldn't help but notice that the guy most likely to play Jesus in an Easter play, Johnny Damon of the Red Sox, has signed to play with the Red Sox's arch rival, the Yankees.

I am the biggest Johnny Damon/Red Sox fan that there is. And now he is a freaking Yankee, what the heck has happened to this world?? I can NEVER yell for Johnny Damon again? That is committing Sports Suicide, I am a Red Sox fan first. Sorry to my boyfriend, Johnny Damon....I used to love you!!! LOL

See that hatred only makes sense if you live up north, within a thousand miles of Boston or New York. When you live in Decatur, Wise County, or even Texas for that matter it is just hilarious.

When it comes to the state of professional team sports, was it Jerry Seinfeld who said we are all just "cheering for uniforms" nowadays?

It's the end of the world as some of you know it baseball wise.

What happen to that new and improved _allas Maverick Defense?

I thought new head coach Avery Johnson was supposed to bring the D back to Dallas.

When one player outscores your entire team for three quarters, there is only one thing to say.

You SUCK!!!

As you can probably tell, I am very passionate with my Maverick hatred.

Oh by the way your owner sucks too!!!

I think that the Johnny has gotten a big head. I am a HUGE Bosox fan, but frankly I am kinda glad to see him go. He has gotten way too full of himself. In the last year he has never passed up an opportunity to speak to the media, alot of it in a non positive way.

The reason the Sox were able to win the series in 04 was because they were a team of people, no one was better than the other. Well after the series some though they were and Johnny was certainly one of them.

So farewell and good riddence to Johnny Damon I hope that he ans Arod are very happy together.
