It's 100 Degrees So . . .

The Dallas Cowboys open training camp this week, and the first high school and college football games are less than 50 days away. The Bridgeport Bulls are ranked #8 in the state, and the Texas Longhorns are predicted to exorcise that Sooner demon and win the Big 12. Both are dicey propositions. And it can't all start soon enough.

Another year, another win for the Eagles.

The Eagles lost most of their skill people to graduation and the rest to free agency so this wan't be just another year. The Bulls are grossly overrated so it should be pretty even. May come done to confidence, the Eagles may be a little short on it after playing a tough non-district schedule (0-5?) If I were betting I would take OU.

That's the difference. I'll take the Eagles and UT. Confidence is up in Decatur because a tradition of winning is being built. Coach Story can convince them that any losses in non-district will make them stronger in district.
As for Texas, miracles still happen.
