Different Perspective

After spending the morning picking a jury in an Indecency With A Child case where the defendant is pleading guilty and that jury to assess punishment, I take a lunch break and learn that (1) geeks are  upset that Apple has announced the release of an iPhone 4S and not an iPhone 5, (2) hard core Texans are upset that the President is in Dallas, (3) Tea Party people are upset Gov. Christie announced he wasn't running for president, and (4) baseball fans are upset because the Rangers are playing at 1:00 in the afternoon.

A person's problems are very relative.

As a racist member of the Tea Party, I am thrilled that Christie is not running. He in no way has the same beliefs as the Tea Party. He is pro gun control, pro amnesty for illegals and is a global warmism believer. The ones that are upset are the Republican elites.

Is Obammy by any chance going to visit Dealy Plaza in an open limo?

Dont be a pervert child molestor and you can worry about that shit like baseball and politics and not sitting in a court wasting my tax dollars for playing priest...pretty simple huh

As a racist black Jewish Muslim conservative Christie didn't mean a darn thing to me. He's as loony as Ron Paul.

I may not wear a Stetson, but I'm willing to bet I'm as big a Texan as you are.

If a little dope is worth 36 years in Johnson County, I'm guessing your boy gets the chair.

It's a pretty big thing to have the head of all Niggers in Dallas.

Amen, Barry.

I predict most folks will look at your post and move right down to itesm 1,2,3,and 4 and comment on them.

Most of us have no real problems.

So you trust this jury to do the right thing? Will you accept their verdict or gripe and moan like you did with the guy who got 36 years?

And yet it could be said, "A person's problems are his relatives." (Especially steps and in laws)

So very well said, BG! if it wasn't such a waste of blogger talent I would nominate you for president of these Unites States of America

Rangers won that 1 o'clock game with 4 homeruns

Well, with all that information to process, Barry, which of the list would you prioritize?

The indecency with the child?

Or sports?

Or comments on your blog?

As a Ranger fan, the game time didn't really bother ne as (a) It was in Florida and I couldn't be there, (b) with internet I could watch it live at my desk as I worked (c) they won so I don't care WHAT time of day it is and now my Home Game 1 tickets for the ALCS series are GOOD!!!!! Beltre for President! lol

I got officially terminated from my job today. They couldn't give me enough hours each week to complete my training in the time allotted (3 months) so I am done. The background check and hiring process took 5 weeks. I don't know.

If Obama is the answer, it must have been a really stupid question

You should stop posting on this blog in the middle of a trial. Its not ethical, its not appropriate and I will tell you that to your face when its over and we can BOTH then comment about it. Just do your job in the courtroom and live with the outcome.

7:16, I am very sorry for the loss of your job. Wish I had a company of my own. I would hire you. I can feel your feelings of frustration and disillusion. Truly, I pray you will find substantial work soon! Wish there was more I could do.

Bush is why we got Obama. Out of the frying pan and into the fire. We need Colin Powell!

Too bad Christie is not running, he would fit just fine in the oval office.

9:06 - I have an idea Barry knows what he can or cannot do, but it seems unethical to me also. Juries are lambasted with questions as to whether they "know" this, that or the other about the upcoming trial or lawyers, blah blah.... and they themelves are almost put on "trial" before they are selected......and then admonished not to "discuss" among themselves the proceedings.........then come on here and read stuff. What's the difference?

I guess it's legal, but doesn't seem very wise to me.

11:50 - don't think so. His arse would need bigger chairs and they'd have to put in a hamburger joint down in the kitchen.

12:31, No problem. They already have all of that because of Michelle's fat ass.
