Hey, Look What Mrs. LL Did To The Family Gangsta Sedan!!!!

I always knew she'd get in a wreck.  I just never thought she'd be sitting still and absolutely faultless when it happened.

If you got momentarily delayed due to a four car wreck at 377/114 in Roanoke yesterday afternoon, she was part of the problem.

(There's actually a pretty moving story with this, but I'll either let her tell it or get express, written permission before I do.)

A little wax & buffing and that will come right out. And duct tape, And Bondo. And bailing wire. Yea, right out.

That sucks. Really sucks.

So sorry to hear Mrs. LL. Looks like you weren't at fault, at least in the eyes of the law.
Best wishes for the inconvenience it causes, but most importantly hope you were not injured.

4 words . . . get used to it. I have been married for almost ten years and my wife has wrecked every car we have had (five,I think). some of them have been wrecked more than once and the one she is driving now we bought in 2007 and she has wrecked it 3 times now.

My wife alone is the reason everyone should ask "show me the carfax" when they purchase a car.

Yep, that will buff right out.

Hope she and the little LL's are OK.

Do you know a good lawyer?

Let me guess. She was hit by either a tanker truck or a rock hauler.

$1,000 they were texting or talking on the phone.

Glad she and the Little One are okay.

Your wife probably has so many wrecks because she's daydreaming about attending your funeral...

She can't hold a light to my grandaughter.I'm thinking I will bar her from carrying the children or insureing the hell out of the entire family.

And bailing wire

You should have mentioned only bailing wire. All the bondo and duct tape crap means you're forgetting your roots.

I know that area and people are not very careful about pulling out into oncoming traffic from the shopping area. Gotta really be alert there.

Uninsured illegals?

Women are crappy drivers even when they're stopped

Buy your wife a neck brace to wear in public until you settle the personal injury lawsuit.

Honey, I wrecked the car. Ok, We'll go down to Walmart in the morning and take pictures of the damage.

I had one like that several years ago. Sitting at a stop sign waiting to enter 114 at 157. A lady just bammed into the back of me. The car was bashed kinda like Mr. LL's car. I think I may have moved a little and the lady thought I was taking off. Guess she was planning to run the stop sign and go right behind me. It was her fault. I should have claimed I hurt my back, but really it was not much of a bump. If there is a next time, I am going for the money. Tired of stupid drivers...they should be punished.

The upside is you can have the fellas at West Coast Customs pimp that ride to make it really Family Gangsta. It is a Chrysler 300, right? Visit from Xzibit is optional.

I'm happy to hear the family unit is fine.

Barry, you've got to start beating her before this gets out of hand.

I take all my wife's wrecks to the body shop at Karl Klement. They know her on a first name basis.

Word to the wise, after you get it fixed, get rid of it.

That intersection is a wreck waiting to happen. Eastbound SH 114 is a 7% downhill grade, the speed limit is 60 mph and the yellow light timing does not meet TXDOT standards. The short timing on the yellow light helps make the City of Roanoke a lot of money from the red light camera at that location. I was mailed a ticket for running the light. I knew there was a truck behind me and I was not about to lock down on my brakes with him coming down that 7% grade going the 60 mph speed limit. When I proved the yellow light timing was too short they dismissed my ticket. I don't think they have corrected the light timing.

Buy a box of band aids and put them all over the bumper.

Question: Are you sure this will not result in a DL revocation hearing in FW?

Comment: Use H&W body shop in B'port for the repairs. They are above and beyond the BEST in Wise county. And after two wives and three teenagers, I should know! (Or was it three wives and two teenagers? Oh well.)

Surely this post could be used as evidence for the insurance company in a suit?

Sir, I beg you to consider the consequences of your actions. I have noticed your honesty towards the Mrs. and her recent unfortunate encounters and the saving grace of you not explaining too much, however looks to me like somebody's fixin to get an asswhoopin.

Sooo glad she is ok!! Screw the car--it can be repaired. Just really glad she is ok!

That is a terrible intersection-case was made above about the 6% grade, downhill, speed at 60mph. I would run that damn light, too, to aviod get slammed from the back.

Of course, now 380 will have these same types of accidents once the traffic light goes in at business 380...just wait..been reading some good opinions about that intersection lately regarding the stupid light.

were drugs or alcohol involved?

Anonymous said...

A little rubbing compound will take that right out.

Get a chain, attach it to damaged area and have Mrs. LL hold on while you pull away. It should pop right out.
