You Remember That You Are Running For President, Don't You?

Hey, I don't care what you build, but if your in the middle of a campaign which is in the middle of a horrible recession, you might not want to file paperwork to demolish you $12 million vacation home so you can quadruple the size of it.

Rick Perry would jump on this like nobody's business but for living in a taxpayer funded $10,000 temporary rent house.

$10,000 a MONTH, mind you. Not just $10,000.

Also, if you're the president, don't leave sperm on your mistress' dress, try not to buy previously un-needed multi-million dollar motor homes when flaunting your vacations during a recession, and also, try not to show how under-qualified you are by inviting your enemy to "just have a beer so we can fix our differences".
Yeah, good post there. Glad you brought to light the mortgage situation of a person who has no chance of being our president.

If Mitt uses tax payer money I have a problem. If he uses his money I don't care. At least he knows how to make money. The president only knows how to spend other peoples. The next president should have some experience at something other than politics. That formula aint worked out that well...

So,
Did Leonard denney get a new vehicle also?

How much is Obammy's rent house costing us?

He still will, I bet.

Mitt uses his money. Obama, Biden, Pelosi, etc. use our money. Big difference, Skippy. The liberal weanie, class warfare argument has grown very stale.

"I will promise you this, that if we have not gotten our troops out by the time I am president, it is the first thing I will do. I will get our troops home. We will bring an end to this war. You can take that to the bank." - Barack Obama campaign promise - October 27, 2007 Just for you, Rage

A rental of $10,000 per month is nothing in today's market. Obama's vacation home at Martha's Vineyard, the Blue Heron Farm, costs an estimated $50,000 per week. If the White House became not habitable then where would the president live? It would probably cost much more than where Perry is living.

Lot of hate for the rich man these days.
Funny thing, I've had lots of jobs, but I've never, ever worked for a poor person.

In passing it looks like the former Mass. Governor is scoreboarding but I'm betting there are a bunch of California tradesmen and suppliers who are more than happy to take Romney's money to get the job done. So, in the end, I'm going with Romney's a one man stimulus package in this instance.

Hey, Mitt can spend his daddy's money any way he wants. It's how he would spend ours that should worry us.

Hope the wise county commissioners take Bishops car from him since it is county property and force him to drive the truck. County property can be pulled and assigned however. I guess he forgets they bought it from him and he is not the owner to do whatever he pleases. Keep the truck white so Deputies don't get complaints about driving reckless knowing it is ole thunder rolling down the highways and byways of eastern wise.

How's that straight ticket voting working out for you? Obama in the White House and Supercop in your backyard.

Stay classy, Wise County!

Hey BG, the is a good article in the Wall Street Journal about how gas prices are staying up when crude prices are falling. The title is "Oil's Slide Stalls at Pump". I remember everyone went crazy at how much oil companies were making a few years ago, what do they think about this?

Larry King: "So, who are you voting for?"

Chris Rock: "I'm voting for the guy with one house. A guy with one house wants to make sure everything is OK. Cause if he loses that house, he's got nowhere to go! McCain, he got so many houses he don't even know how many houses he's got."

Just for you, Rage

You'll be hard-pressed to find where I've complimented Obama on anything but his efforts at health care. In fact, I've been quite critical of him on civil liberties and I believe he's moving too slow overseas. Usually, though, I'm just pointing out how Republicans have no solutions to offer. They're just the party of "No". Tea Party? Clowns who wanted the US to default on its obligations, including Social Security payments to the elderly and payroll for the troops, all to make their political point.

But he's at least getting us out of Iraq and Afghanistan faster than any Republican would have, and his efforts in Libya have been spot-on (causing wordkyle to have a stroke after he said on this very blog that Obama's actions in Libya were leaving the rebels to die) and all without long-term involvement or serious troop commitment.

And y'all might also have forgotten that Bush took so much vacation time that he spent less time in the White House than any president since the damn thing was built. But hey--complain about a one-week vacation all you want.

Lest we let the little troll's lies get completely out of hand, let us first ask him to provide evidence supporting his numerous claims. When you brag about your education as he did, you create the expectation that you'll provide a higher-level argument than we've seen so far.

I've mentioned Obama and Libya a couple of times in this forum. My comments had to do with Obama's inaction. On March 29: "IF Obama made the right decision in helping the rebels, he took several weeks to make it -- after hundreds or thousands of them had been killed."

On March 24: "Disregarding whether militarily opposing Gaddafi is the right thing to do or not, it can be reasonably argued that Obama took a long time to come to that decision -- well after the rebels had already gotten the crap beat out of them. Sarah Palin advised precisely the same action a month ago, when military assistance would have done the rebel side a lot more good. Obama could learn a few things from her."

Libyan rebels seem to have won the day, but fewer of them are left to celebrate because of Obama's indecisiveness.

(Another observation I made on March 29 about Obama's disturbing process regarding his Libya policy: "Barack Obama approached the UN for permission for the United States to intervene militarily in Libya, but did not consult with nor ask the US Congress.")

Wordkyle, the point is that you cried about inaction, but things worked out and obama appears to have done the right thing by not getting heavily involved on day one.

You must be really short, because that obvious point went right over your pointy head.

Funny how in today's post you're complaining that his actions may have helped al qaida, but in the links you provided you say he didn't do enough, in time, to help the rebels.

So which is it wordkyle? Did he wait too long to help, or did he help bad guys win?

Stop lying, wordkyle.

Ah, you make up opinions for me, then when called out, you change the subject. That "education" you have's really working out for you, isn't it?

But since you brought it up: "...obama appears to have done the right thing by not getting heavily involved on day one." and

"Did he wait too long to help, or did he help bad guys win?"

It's looking really, really possible that Obama took a long time to decide to support al Qaida and the Muslim Brotherhood. Maybe discussing it with someone other than his circle of sycophants and the United Nations -- say, with Congress -- would have been a wise move.

wordie, he's got you here. You are completely missing the point.

I know, I know, you think I'm Rage posting anonymously, like you always do when someone laughs when he rubs your nose in it.

WOW Rage! Your stupidity is nothing short of stunning.
Here it is in plain English. If in fact the Muslim Brotherhood are the Rebels, inaction on Obama's part could be considered helping the wrong side, that does not mean that Ghadaffi is a great guy and all, but some question whether we should have been involved at all since we don't know exactly what the heck is happening there. But since we did get involved, our involvement should have been swift and decisive, instead of waiting on NATO. If the goal was to remove Libya's current leader, Obama sure stood on the sideline with his thumb up his butt way too long.
Wordie smacks you down AGAIN.

Stop breathing rAGE.
