Says She's Not Buying "It's The Whole Winds' Fault" Theory

This lady was in the crowd when she saw the stage collapse at the Sugarland concert earlier this month in Indianapolis. She wasn't hurt. No one in her family was hurt.  But she wants a big bag o' money because she saw it happen.

She describes the trauma: "There was a person that I saw struggling to breathe, fighting really hard to live," she said. "And then they covered this person up with this itchy, it was some random carpet from the stage. And I kept saying, 'That's going to be itchy,' because I'm a mom. But I didn't realize that the person had died."

Side note: I hope you guys won't sue me for the occasional Random Thought Girl Viewing Trauma.

Another reason why Perry should be prez. Tort reform of all states!!

Hopefully her children won't die or she might not realize it. A CPS visit may be in order occasionally to make sure whether the kids are breathing or dead.

You mean there is a lawyer "stupid enough" to take this. Ridiculous.

We are doomed.

A friend of mine's sister were at the concert, front row. My friend's sister was literally cut in half.

Imagine getting that phone call right after you get home from Sturgis.

I saw it on the news and it traumatized me. When do I get my money? $$$ makes everything better!

I'm a plaintiff's lawyer and that is a silly case. But God help injured folks with legitimate cases in the rest of this country if Perry-style "tort reform" ever goes nationwide. The only folks who benefit from it are big businesses and insurance companies. When that frac truck driven by a meth-head kills Momma, Daddy and the kids, or Grandmaw dies from bed sores in a decrepit nursing home, or Junior's cheap SpongeBob pajamas burst into flames when he brushes up against the babysitter's cigarette, remember who you voted for.

It's easy to bash lawyers and lawsuits until you need one.

Good for her. We shouldn't have to witness structures falling down killing people.

It would take me being around that chick for about 2 minutes for me to straight up slap the taste out of her mouth.

I see dead people... white dead people.

I've commented on this about 20 teen times but Africam link is bad.

3:57,

You can still sue in Texas and recover. You just cannot have a horseshit case, as you seem to prefer.

But I am sure you have never seen a case that you considered frivilous.

Anonymous said...

two things first off barry i wish to sue for the trauma of seeing this stupid person yap about what they saw and how bad it was
2 at least with perry we might have money with obama we have none

Anonymous said...

3:57. You honestly believe that drivel? If you lawyers could see anything but green you might have taken care of this yourself and prevented the need for tort reform. But it's hard to put a check on your fellow lawyers when you are making laughably outrageous fees off these type lawsuits.

Can I sue the Army for the stuff I saw in Iraq???

She needs to get over it and be glad she bought her tickets too late to get a front row seat.

Barry has slipped! New Anti Drug signs are up in Rhome about Zero Tolerance, and we don't even get a picture!

3:57, If that's your strongest argument for not voting for Perry compared to Obammy, then God bless your sorry ass.

Anonymous said...

I know she's crazy, but how on earth can she look at herself in the mirror in the morning?

This poor cracker. It is Obama's Fault.

She should go talk to a policeman, fireman, EMT or soldier about the definition of "traumatized"

I passed a bad wreck on the highway yesterday, had to see it close up. Suing Ford, Chevy, and the Peterbilt company today.

Your plea went unheeded homes. I've retained Brock to make you pay for my emotional pain and suffering.

If you listen to Sugarland your life must be pretty miserable anyway.

If you pay to go watch them while it's storming?

There's no hope for you.
