They Still Have Raves?

The Story (Edit: It now identifies the dead man as a 19 year old out of Argyle. This Facebook page bears the same name and lists him as studying at College Station)
:

Rumors of multiple deaths at the event were greatly exaggerated on Twitter, however:

Pics I could find from last night. Edit: the Observer has a wacky slide show up.

What's a "rave?"

I think Raves are a great idea. They attracted the dumbest of the dumb in our society. It would be a great opportunity to kill all the useless people at once.

You have to be stupid to enjoy that type of music because if you are even slightly smart, you realize that it's all talentless computerized garbage.

Rave on. Their brains will never be the same. That is because of the destructive force that ecstasy (MDMA) has on brain cells that release serotonin.

"Data suggest that MDMA may be toxic to the brain. Dr. George Ricaurte, an associate professor of neurology at Johns Hopkins University, analyzed brain scans of people who had used ecstasy. The study included people who had used ecstasy an average of 200 times over five years. Although the behavior of these people appeared normal, brain scans showed that the drug had damaged their brains. In fact, those who used the drug more often had more brain damage than less frequent users. Moreover, memory tests of people who have taken ecstasy as compared to non-drug users have shown that the ecstasy users had lower scores."

Why in hell did the City of Dallas let this happen.
