All right, everyone listen to me. This video starts out as the cutest thing in the world between a baby deer, a cat, and then the momma deer. BUT, and I'm serious here, there is some serious animal violence beginning at the 1:00 mark. DO NOT WATCH IT, if you are a domesticated animal lover. You've been warned. I'm not joking around. (So don't come back and yell at me if you click on the link and go to youtube to see it.)
But it's one of the darnedest thing I've ever seen.

Something like that is EXACTLY why dogs should ALWAYS be on a leash, when outdoors. Shame on the dog's owner for not having had the sense to gain control of their dog PRIOR to the deer stomping the dog.
The cat was attacking the deer, not too smart.
I cried through the whole movie.
Let's see now... Deer are prey and cats and dogs are predators. Prey must fight or flight. Duh! God help us from the Disney generation.

The fawn does what nature instructs: when in danger lie down still an maybe harm will go away. Momma on the other hand has only quick feet for defense. The poor dog should have made like the cat and bugged out. Hey now, nature is a tough place! Maybe some humans should learn to hunker down and get to business.

I do feel for the dog whose owner is so intent on filming what is going on instead of trying to intervene and run the deer off. You don't have to shoot it. A sling shot, rock, ball, anything would have probably worked better than screaming at the deer to stop. Poor dog has a stupid owner. The deer obviously felt intimidated by both animals and went after the bigger one, the one it thought was a bigger threat.
It's always the cat that gets the dog in trouble, anyway, isn't it.?

Thanks, mzDirected. I would blame it on the dog and not the owner. Most dogs would have hauled ass outta there, but this was obviously a pansie FEMALE dog who needs to be thinned from the herd because it was too STUPID to run AWAY.
Oh my gosh! The pain and torment I felt for that poor dog and that poor cat are overwhelming me. What a sad video of those poor innocent creatures being stomped. Oh, it breaks my heart..........

Good grief people! It's frecking animals! The mama deer is protecting her baby, the dang dog was at the wrong place at the time and as for the cat it was just being curious. Mzchief, how do you know that there wasn't a owner near with the dog? I think if I saw a deer coming at me I'd have ran the other way. ( and cats also should be on a leash also! Mzchief!)

And, No, there are many reasons why dogs may be off a leash when outdoors. Anyone who has seen working dogs or hunting dogs in action understands this.

In all honesty, if you think about it, the person yelling for the dog to get out of there probably caused the situation to become worse. The dog would have run away. Instead the dog interpreted the yells from the idiot woman as a 'scolding' and reacted in a manner of cowered down. If the woman hadn't yelled at the dog, it prob would have ran off.

Good video. Very exciting. Would have been better if deer got after stupid camera lady. Random thoughts gets b+ only because of weird tatoo,skidmark , or whatever it was on Strawberry girls belly. Leash laws, we don't need no stinking leash laws. Move back to the city or get yourself neutered.
