I saw this on Fox 4 last night. Amazing. This guy decides to "key" a Hummer in the Southlake Carroll parking lot. Yeah, not so interesting. What is incredible is that the Hummer was equipment with cameras that were activated by motion detectors. It even picked him up when he went to the other side.

Does the Hummer appear to be parked in a space that is blue? When I first viewed the clip I thought the guy might be pissed off because the Hummer was parked in a Handi-cap spot without a sticker or permit. Not an excuse to damage a person' private property though.

Not a handicap spot. As a fundraiser, kids can "own" and paint a parking spot in that section of the lot. Hunch is that we'll hear more of this story, particularly what the Hummer driver might have done prior to the keying. Doubt it's just a random thing. Gotta be a reason in that guy's head. Either that or it's fake. Interesting that the cameras don't wiggle one tiny bit when the guy puts pressure on the vehicle. Guess it's really a heavy vehicle, but you would think a tiny little camera would at least wiggle.

Why does it never occur to anyone that a person driving a Hummer might not be driving it all that far to work, school, etc? I drive a 4 banger Honda but I go about 70 miles each day to work, using a couple gallons a day before leisure trips. Who's greener? Me, or the person who drives a Hummer but only 100 miles a week?

1:41AM, the majority of Hondas are made in the US. They have higher domestic parts content than a Hummer.
I am all about American products And MADE in the U.S.A. Id buy a Harley if they could make one that could COMPARE to my HONDA and have all its capablity's and dependablity! Harley cost 25k base price might have 90 h.p might break 95 mph and possible last 3 months before issue's start to arrise with the unit! I can By 4 Hondas for that price the bike produce's 185 H.p. thats more than most cars these days! It will do a staggering 185 mph To date it has well over 46K on the clock and most all these miles are well over 100 mph Its dependable reliable and all you have to do is change the oil and put gas in it! NAME me an American product that can take that kind of abuse and wont cost 100k I'll by it and drive my Honda to the crusher! We as Americans Better wake the F up and get our act together or all of us are going to be driving foreighn crap regardless of our prefrence's!

12:30PM, the majority of the profit stays in the US via Honda's R&D and design facilities. Honda has moved the majority of their design and manufacturing ecosystem to the US to better design cars that Americans will buy. Which is something GM and Ford can't seem to do, even though they've been here 100 years.

By the way, there are thousands of unemployed people living in the neighborhood around the old Ford plant. They get welfare, food stamps, and go to Parkland Hospital for their medical needs. Thanks to the Republicans and Democrats for NAFTA. I think my next truck will be a Toyoto, built in Ohio by Americans. Those American workers earn a reasonable wage and receive retirement and health care benefits for their labors. They are not a burden on the tax base.
