I Did Not Know That

An emailer just pointed out to me that this weekend is Daylight Saving Time - we have to move our clocks forward. Ugh. Seem a little soon? Yep, it is. Last year it was April 2nd but the "new law" kicks in this weekend.

Edit: OK, I may have had my years wrong. But I don't remember us moving the clocks forward in March of last year.

It was March 11 last year. April 2 was 2006. The new law went into effect last year.

I don't remember moving our clocks back in March, either. It's ridicules, LEAVE THE TIME ALONE!!!

It's all Bush's fault. IMPEACH BUSH!!

Somehow, somewhere... someone will find a way to blame this on the Republicans.

To anonymous 8:52...
The U.S. has NEVER moved the clocks back in March, April or May. The clocks Spring FORWARD in the Spring and Fall Back in the Fall.

You're welcome.

Jarhead,

Strange comment. For 8 years now all I've been hearing is that it is all Clinton's fault.

(And of course, Jimmy Carter's.)

As I was walking down the street one day
A man came up to me and asked me what the time was that was on my watch,

yeah And I said

Does anybody really know what time it is
Does anybody really care?

Everything is Jimmy Carter's fault.

Don't tell anyone, but I'd rather have Bill as president AGAIN for two terms with Hillary as VP than have Carter in the White House for a single day.

Back when the time change started, Arizona told everyone to stuff it! To this day they stay neutral.

Jarhead ... AMEN to that!!
