I had a post last week about "Racehorse" Haynes being back in the courtroom. He was defending a 41 year old woman who had consensual (but illegal) sex with a 16 year old boy.
Well she was found guilty and yesterday the sentence was handed down.
Count I: 13 years in the pen
Count II: 10 years in the pen
Count III: Probation.
But, get this: The judge stacked the 13 year and 10 year sentence. She will now become eligible for parole after she serves half of that 23 year sentence. That's insane. (And each "count" normally means a different sexual act.)
Williamson County (Georgetown) would be a horrifying place to practice law.

What ever happened to parents that would be proud of the boy?
Again, when God designed the human body, he did so with a total lack of respect for American laws or morals.
I guess that is the exact opposite of a county in Colorado who keeps giving female teachers probation and the like for the same offense
Barry, 23 years ago in the yearbook dark room @ 4:30 p.m. was great. We might have been 16 - 17 then, but that teacher experience was not criminal for those 8 minutes. It prepared us for the very fine future, why are these guy's telling everybody about it? In 1983 - 1984 there were no charges, even when the girls volunteered their "thang" to the coaches it was not criminal. THIS has gone on for over 30 years, why all of the sudden "PUBLIC OUTCRY"?
Wonder if you'd feel the same way if a big ol' muscled up 41 year old coach banged your 16 year old daughter?
Williamson County a horrifying place to practice law? Maybe they have all moved to Wise County.
We have as many lawyers as we do preachers.
