Tropical Storm Erin . . .

. . . was a big bag of nothing. It's the lead story on every newscast, but it was a big bag.

ROCK ME LIKE A TROPICAL STORM?

I'm sure all those people that are getting rain in south Texas think it was a bag of nothing.

We had better get a little bag of something up here.

A heavy rainstorm in south Texas? Gee, how unique. Close the refineries, close the schools (if they're open), mobilize FEMA and get to the store to buy water and batteries!

This must be the first time in centuries that a storm hit that coast. Get Eyewitness Newz reporters to the beach so they can be seen with their hair blowing and getting wet. Geeeze, what a lot about nothing!

You were hoping for more? Don Henley, "Dirty Laundry" type, are we? I doubt that the family of the truck driver who drowned, or the friends and loved ones of the two men who died in the building roof collapse, share your opinion of the storm. Hold the presses, you'll get another chance to see the death and destruction you obviously crave, as Dean makes it's trip across the trades and through the Caribbean and Gulf. oh........and you'll still be safely nestled in the shadow of Dallas, and no closer to being in Texas than you were before.
