Dumbest Guy In America

You may have seen this story last week. A guy sends flowers to his girlfriend but the flower company ends up sending the receipt to his wife. So he sues the company. And he's dumb enough to appear on the Today Show this morning.

*LOLHysterically*

What a MORON.

Dinner with "the other woman" = $ 65.

Flowers for "the other woman" = $100.

Wife discovering "the other woman" =PRICELESS

This is ALMOST as funny as the liars and cheaters being nailed using their EZ-Pass tollway pass.

From Eddie Murphy's famous line from SNL---- "SILLY NEGRO!"

KARMA is not so good, at times.

What a DUMBA$$! Serves him right.

I'm kind of on his side. The company breached their privacy policy by sending the receipt to his wife. I think he's got a case, but not for a million dollars.

Sure seems stupid on the surface; however, the man explicitly requested that the company NOT send anything to his home. They did anyway. Did the flower company violate the "contract" between the buyer and the company? In any case, the fax sent to the home where the wife got it will certainly wind up costing someone a bundle!

What was funny too is he is sueing for mental anguish because of the stress of the lawsuit and what people are saying about him on the internet. What a dufuss!!! HE filed the lawsuit or no one but his wife and the lawyers and probably her friends/family even knew about this. It is truly amazing a man could be so ignorant.

NAACP is flying in a legal team to rescue him from such a travesty. Al Sharpton will arrive Thursday to pronounce the flower shop guilty.

Would not surprise me if the three of them were in it together, as a scam.

We all love to marvel at the ludicrous nature of lawsuits in America. Please remember the process of law is executed, monitored and tweaked by lawyers for one purpose....... to make money for lawyers. The validity of a suit has no bearing on the profit of the attorneys so there is no natural "checks and balances" to keep us from the ridiculous nature of these things. Everyone please place the blame where the blame is due.

"Personal responsibility," anyone?

The nerve of that louse to look so egregiously offended. I love how the florist said they weren't responsible for his personal life. No sh*t.

I was thinking the same thing as anon 11:15 (which kind of worries me). The unhappy couple may be collaborating on this one to maximize a settlement to fund their new lives. I agree that a mistake was made but if they were already splitting up then what real damage was done. Considering they are only suing for $1 milion - not much. LOL.

Good luck to the florist trying to prove they would have a split up anyway since the couple will swear that they still loved each other, that is until the florist screwed up.

He hope the jury reaches the same verdict that the jury did for the afro american that sued the dry cleaners.

I think the English have it right regarding law suits like this. I believe in England, if you file a law suit and lose, you have to pay the legal bills for the party you sued and the court costs.

This makes you think twice before you file a frivolous law suit.

I blame the flower shop for his illicit affair! Who else can pay for the 6 carat rock he has to buy his wife so he can come back home.

Once one gets down in that gutter, it's VERY difficult to slither out... maybe the attorneys will get a book deal and a movie out of it... I would!

The lawyer that takes the case should be sued, given a jury trial and found guilty of greed.
