Whatcha Gonna Do?

A courthouse administrative assistant who will remain nameless (Mary) went home for lunch today and saw two four guys burglarizing her home. The guys fled in their own vehicle, and sweet Mary, being the scared and timid person that she is, decided to pursue them by car. I'm not exactly sure what happened next other than a few calls to the police prompted an all out manhunt and a police scanner frenzy. I think the guys were caught, but I haven't confirmed this. Mary's fine although she will be forever known as the girl that proclaimed shortly after the chase, "My car can do 113 mph!"

What is up with all the burgularies? This happened over 10+ years ago. We went through a period of burgularies and a lot of people bought home security systems (the house i live in has one purchased from that time period).

You'll probably offer to defend them for free, claiming the home owner did not have the right to chase them and any thing further is "fruit of the poisonous tree".

Yes they were caught by our wonderful Tx DPS

Wonderful DPS? Why won't they pursue a truck that has destroyed a windshield? Oh, I forgot they make a big show out of a "inspection stop" but otherwise the trucks have a free reign of this county.

And why wasn't she ticketed for speeding and reckless endangerment?

I DO BELIEVE THAT OUR COUNTY DEPUTIES WERE THE ONES WHO CAUGHT THESE GUYS 2 OF THE DEPUTIES WERE THERE JUST SECONDS AFTER THE 4 GUYS RAN AND THE FIRST 2 WERE CAUGHT IMMEDIATLY AND THE OTHER 2 WERE CAUGHT A FEW MINUTES LATER ACORDING TO SCANNER TRAFFIC

6:45,just the kind of BS that is expected from the Wise County idiots. Can't let credit go where it is due. As for who caught who, it was a coordinated effort by all on the scene. WCSO deputies were there on top of it and did make at least two of the arrests.

With the local DA, the bad guys will never be prosecuted. By the way Barry, why no posts on the local DA story (probation for child molesters) on Channel 33 last week? Could it be that she is too close to the local attorneys to do her job?

9:23 voice your personal agendas elsewhere frankly I'm tired of hearing it, and quit trying to drag others down into your tangled web.
