Kill All The Lawyers

Forget about the McDonald's hot coffee judgment, this is the most amazing verdict I've ever heard of. (And I predict this story becomes national news over the next two days). If Southwest Airlines locked her in a basement for a year, I would understand it. Otherwise, where do I line up to be racially profiled?

Not enough information. What do other passengers say?

The wildest jury award I've heard of was against Winnabago after a woman bought a big motor home and drove it home down some freeway. She decided to go fix lunch while sailing down the road. Gee - it eventually crashed with no one driving. She claimed the manual didn't state that you had to steer while in motion. The jury agreed and gave her very big bucks - and a new Winnabago. Where do they find these juries?

We hear about these huge jury awards. I wonder how many are ever paid. Somebody will probably respond with an answer. And of those paid I would bet the claiment actually settles for 10 cents on the dollar.

There's no way that story is true on the Winnabago! Where in the world did you get that information? I have heard some stupid stuff but there is just no way!

snopes.com says that the Winnebago story is FALSE, just as I thought. Anon 1133, Don't be so gullable....it could get you in trouble or taken advantage of! There are way too many people out there that don't know how to tell the truth!
