That's exactly why I love John daly. He's EVERYMAN! It's OK that he looks and acts the way he does. Apparently he's not hurting anyone, and if he's making enough money to live on, then so be it. WAY TO GO JOHN!
Daly is one of the most popular golfers on the tour. He makes a fair amount (for a golf pro) but he gives a much bigger proportion to charities and others. He's been divorced several times, lives hard and plays hard. He's unpretentious and actually talks with the fans. His lifestyle may shorten his life, but he'll live a lot before his final holes.

I like the cigarette hanging out of his mouth. It is a nice touch.
And to think that one time, he was supposed to be the "up and coming new wonder boy" of the PGA!

John knows the true meaning of golf ..... it's not how many, it's how far you can knock that sucker that makes the diffrence.
