Now That Sounds Like A Heck Of A Game

I just saw that the Messenger posted the score of Bridgeport's playoff game tonight. Bridgeport 42, (Unbeaten) Monahans 43 - In overtime. I bet that was exciting.

....listened to it via this thing on radio. It WAS an exciting game.
Well matched team. Likely some nails bitten into the quick by the fans on both sides. One point!.....whew!

b-port needs to get with the cowboys and get a kicker!

how do you score 7 touchdowns, allow only 6 touchdowns and no field goals and lose?

you miss the extra point on ALL 7 touchdowns. there is no excuse for that. i know there is at least one soccer player in bridgeport, and henson's $80,000 a year should include the finding of that person.

Noticed Devin Godboldt's Liberty Christian team got soundly beaten.

With no decent political items to comment on, I'll suggest the Bull's loss was due to Gov Peerry and the Republican legislature's failure to resolve the school finance issue.

Congrats Bulls - even we in Decatur are so very proud of you. See you next year!

I was there it was a great game, Collin Jones showed why he is going to TCU in the FAll, as for the kicker and extra points, it was very frustrating as a fan to watch, but they lost their kicker last week to (what I understand) a very strange and rare injury. I think the actually won the game on their final score before overtime, from where I was standing, it looked like young Arron Holt broke the plane and got the 2 points.

The $80,000 Question in Bridgeport Is.....Just before halftime, why do you throw the ball instead of running it to try some clock manangment. Instead Bport goes 3 passing plays and out, forced to punt they let the Lobos put points on the board. This was a HUGE momentum shift and Cost Bport the game.
Did I say $80,000?
Maybe we should have a TAKS test for Coaches!
SAMPLE Question:
This is a Clock, this is the score, let the clock run when your team has the higher score. Seems simple ENOUGH!
Did I say $80,000?

Yes, you said $80,000!

Yes you said $80,000. Since you know so much you may want to take up coaching.

......it's football folks - the stuff of the future for maybe one or two talented kids...sure we need to keep those salaries up there. (?)

..thank God for parents who told their kids to just enjoy the game, get over the loss and get back to preparing for college..

..and the real world.
