A female teacher pleaded guilty Tuesday to having sex with a 14-year-old student, avoiding prison as part of a plea agreement. Debra Lafave, 25, will serve three years of house arrest and seven years' probation. She pleaded guilty to two counts of lewd and lascivious battery.
The former Greco Middle School reading teacher apologized during the hearing, saying "I accept full responsibility for my actions."

Well it really wasn't rape.. You can't rape the willing-it redefines what the word rape means..
Oops--let's remember this is a situation of sex with a person who is by law "underage", so their lack of willingness was not an issue. I doubt there were accusations of the boy being forced against his will.

Do you really think he told his parents? Would you tell your parents every time you have sex regardless of what age? Don't bring the kids' parents into this anyway-I guess you are forgetting that at the age of 14+ teens start rebelling it is natural. I totally agree! How can anyone over the age of 12 actually support someone this abhorrent, even if they have a pretty face? that means absolutely nothing! she's a sick sick individual who shouldn't be loose in our society.

We don't have to judge; the legal system has done that for us. She is what she is. I agree that this is the kind of attitude that creates such sick perversion in our world. She is just as sick as any man that would do this to a young girl. Only, I bet you wouldn't be patting her on the back saying, "Atta Girl".
