I noticed today at lunch that Wings 21 was locked up tighter than a drum with a nasty note on the door referring to being locked out due to back rent.
Not-a-good.

Hey Barry, The owner of the Decatur Wings 21 may need a lawyer pretty soon.. hint hint
Where is the Decatur Economic Development Corporation when you need them? Businesses closing down because of money troubles, but the EDC pays money to bring other companies here. Ridiculous. Does anyone in this city acknowledge that there is a problem with this?
It's not that i think anyone should have to stuggle. I for one hate to see those restaurants or any other business not make it. But read thru this and see if it isn't a little - no a lot negative. There are lots of businesses that are making it in Decatur (Wise County) It's not all bad. But I am sorry for those who don't make it. However, I understand that that happens everywhere - not just in Wise County. My comment had nothing to do with Chili's. Just the negativity of the whole conversation.
I don't guess that bad service had anything to do with some of them shutting down. I for one loved KFC but made a decision to never eat there again after 3 experiences with bad service. After I saw the plywood on the windows, I assumed I wasn't the only one with bad experiences.
Yeah they did have crappy service. The food was iffy, but good when you don't feel like eating at one of the fast food places in Decatur. I know the owner was/is going to school at UNT in the mornings, and came in-in the afternoon to help out, etc. I guess it became too much.

Maybe someone from Wings should have walked next door and got a payday advance.
Two restaurant have now folded in that same strip center. Decatur is a tough town.

Don't forget KFC and Brickwall's Deli.
who cares, i just want my baby back, baby back, baby back ribs.
Give it a year if that-and all that hype about Chili's will be gone. It will be struggling like any other business in Decatur.
Boy - Nothing like the glass being half empty!
Glass half empty? So it is ok for any other restaurant to struggle except Chili's?
