We Just Want To See "Hometown: Bridgeport" on TV

This article from the Dallas Morning News indicates that Bridgeport's Phillip Daugherty is currently at third string in his bid to start at quarterback at Texas Tech. Redshirt freshman Graham Harrell from Ennis is pushing to be the starter - which could be bad news for Daugherty who is a redshirt sophomore.

It's really sad when a talented kid goes to a quarterback mill like that. You see all the time with UT too. The top 2 or 3 prospects all sign with the same school and many ride the pine the whole time when they could be playing at a dozen other schools. (I bet UNT would love to have Daughtery)

no ones making him stay. i think he needs to leave because that job will be harrell's after this year.

Well it looks as if he is leaving the Texas Tech football program. Don't know where he is going but he did announce that he's leaving Tech.
