Go Ahead. Let Your Kids Play.

From last night.

And if that guy is not suspended, there is something seriously wrong.

PARENTING ADVICE FROM SOMEONE THAT THINKS DRUNK DRIVING IS OK

TF WILL "DEWEY" BURTON

Criticism from a commenter that thinks is OK for cops to shoot unarmed black people.

Go ahead, defend your drunk driving clients.

Go ahead, keep traveling to football games.

That's Old School smash mouth football! A hit worthy of a red stripe! A real head hunter!

trump approves of this

Can you imagine the outrage if the player delivering the hit had been white.

It would have turned into a rallying cry of more Racism!

Yea, let your kids play baseball, they might take a fastball to the head or chest. Let your kids play basketball, they might tear their ACL or MCL.

10:07... PLEASE EXPLAIN HOW YOU CAME TO THAT CONCLUSION

TF BLMADD ( BLACK LIVES MATTER AGAINST DRUNK DRIVING )

And they take a knee because of police brutality?

I never understood why Kapernick could wear socks depicting cops as pigs but Dallas couldn't wear a patch honoring the slain Dallas police officers.

I love black on black violence.

Want to prevent thuggery in the NFL? Instead of suspending him, just bar him from ever playing in the NFL again.

You people are just red neck racist period.

10:53 AM

I agree.

Imagine if we could see video this clearly of the 500 or so head on collisions in America each day because social media just couldn't wait. Difference would be that you'd actually see heads coming off necks, and horrible stuff like that. Hundreds of times each day. NEVER give your kids a vehicle. Ever.

Pussification of America continues. Anything that might get someone hurt is condemned. That's why the snowflakes keep their kids inside the house surfing the internet or watching TV. If you don't want your kids to play, so be it. Lay off the ones that do. I'm so sick of everyone else knowing what's best for the rest of us.

Skippy, you got your wish on the fire chief in Pennsylvania being fired that called coach Tomlin a nigger. But the black Missouri legislator that called for Trump's assassination is still working. Freedom of speech is very selective isn't it?

That was almost as bad as Butterfinger roasting the Bears on Twitter during the game.

As someone who has never faced that little boy, wanting to play his favorite sport and having had to tell them no, you don't deserve to preach to others out there about this. And especially in that smarmy, smug fucking tone. It's pretty easy to set back and lob insults at parents of kids who play when you never had to personally face this issue.

Go do some soul searching man....I have never seen someone as hard hearted and contemptuous of his fellow man as you. You are truly a sick man, eaten up with hate, driven by political division to launch silly little passive aggressive attacks on those who don't think exactly like you. Grow up, look in the mirror and try to find some inner peace.

I agree with your right to suggest that the game is dangerous; however, I would disagree with any sort of legislation or government act that would attempt to make the game go the way of, oh, say Civil War statues. Sure, it is a violent game and people get hurt. However, folks that play at the NFL level know the risk associated with a single bad play after a couple decades worth of playing, they get paid tons of dough, and, for the most part, the league takes pains to make players know that hits like the one leveled by DT (who was a very fast and loose with the rules kind of player in Denver under Fox) will earn them fines and suspensions. My guess is he gets a two game suspension...if I were commissioner he'd be suspended one game longer than the receiver he put in the hospital.

Football is dying.

First of all the guy taking that hit is making at minimum $775,000 as he has been in the league for 4 years. The guy delivering the hit is also making at minimum $775,000 as he is a 6 year veteran.

The point being made is these players aren't making peanuts. They know exactly what they are signing up for and are getting paid more than 99.9% of the people who are reading this blog. They have chose to play football! Nobody is making them play.

I would certainly make sacrifices to make that kind of money. Unfortunately I just don't have any talent. But I don't feel sorry for them and I don't really care if their body is never the same.

Also you don't see these kind of hits very often at the youth level. They are extremely rare. There are literally millions of people walking around that played football through the high school. Do you know anyone who can't function normally because I don't?

Will YOU be watching college football this weekend Skippy?

The commenting orgy on this thread is disgusting. I'm betting most of the posts came from the same one or two people. 11:05Am is right. You idiots are just a bunch of redneck racist sister farkers.

I think the pussification begins with a sport where the players where a ridiculous amount of padding and big ol' plastic helmets. If they just wore regular clothes, I doubt you'd see a spear attack like that.
There doesn't seem to be an epidemic of rugby related concussions....

Anonymous said...

Ref did not eject him. Clearly NFL does not take concussion issues serious

Anonymous said...

Skippy will be watching the Lifetime channel with Ms LL.

1:26, I only know one person that is walking around that can't function normally (Rage) but I'm not going to name names and I'm pretty sure that girls weren't allowed to play football at her school.
