Trump Swatting The Scandal Allegations Away With Logic This Morning

The most bizarre moment of the press conference was when he bragged he just turned down a $2 billion private deal from a man in Dubai a couple of weeks ago - "a friend of mine. Great guy . . . . I didn’t have to turn it down.”

You basically turned down a bribe and are proud of it? And what deals has he accepted? He stressed time and time again that the conflict of interest laws do not apply to him.

I went through Baylor Law School and have now cracked 30 years in law. And now this man is making me study the Emoluments Clause in the Constitution for the very first time.

Suddenly, we're all bent out of shape because we apparently just found out our President is a wheeler dealer billionaire. We were too stupid to notice this until now? He tried to tell us...over and over he tried to tell us; and now we're wacked about it. I hope those few thousand people in Virginia, Ohio, Florida who decided they'd rather bitch and moan afterwards than actually vote, are happy. They own this mess more than anyone else, because they had the power to stop it and did nothing.

I don't understand your logic about a "bribe", as you call it.
First off, if you were offered a huge sum of money as a bribe, and you turned it down, what emotion should you feel? You're saying he's not supposed to be proud of that. Shame or regret, then? If you felt that way about it, you'd go back to the briber and say you've changed your mind.
And if it was an actual bribe, and not a legitimate deal, why would you then say the briber is "a friend of mine. Great guy" right after you just outed him for attempted bribery?

So Ryan Lizza is an intelligence expert?

C'mon, don't act like ANY of you are surprised by this. I still stand by Crazy is a better option than Evil. Hillary probably would have taken the bribe and none of us would have known about it since she's probably learned how to hide bribes better than what she did as Secretary of State.

mzchief is 100% spot on. We knew that HRC was a thief. Trump may end up being one. Hope not. DNC should have run someone better. That goes both ways.

Mzchief is still doing her "crazy vs evil" bit?! Where does all the "evil" come from? Benghazi? The Clinton Foundation? Give me a break. If Hillary is evil, then Trump is evil. Both concepts are totally subjective and stupid.

1:33, If you have to be shown how evil Hillary is, then go ahead and get off the internet and go back to watching MSNBC and CNN for your news. Evil is causing the death of 4 Americans serving their country in a foreign hell hole, refusing their request for help, and then lying to their relatives about what caused their deaths.

To say Trump is "crazy" implies he may not be volitional in his actions, which he certainly is. If someone is described as "crazy," and their actions ARE volitional, then it's typically due to the amount of risk they take. I'm sure Trump has taken risks in his businesses; however, I don't think he's thought of as a "crazy" business guy . But peeping on Ms. Universe contestants, grabbing ladies by the p***y, disparaging disabled reporters, serial adultery, etc., etc. -- seems like "evil" is more befitting than "crazy".

The CIA also led us into war by saying that there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. I believe everything they say.

3:23 - Hahahaha!!! You really said Benghazi! Bonus points! You are so predictably ignorant. I said Benghazi, thinking you'd not be dumb enough bring up something so blown out of proportion and politicized, and you jumped right out and said 'Benghazi'!

And regarding television news, while I don't watch CNN or MSNBC, what would you have me watch? Fox News? Surely you understand that none of those channels are truth, right? I prefer to watch Steve Eager read facebook posts on Fox 4.

Look and the color of his hair and the stories about Golden Showers. Coincidence? I think not.

7:04 has obviously forgotten about Dick Cheney and Condoleeza Rice's role in that WMD intel. Well, not so much forgotten as chosen to completely ignore.

8:16, Is your name Rachel? It's a good thing you can look back on my post because I never said Benghazi. Egg on face much?

8:23 And even the democrats agreed with the CIA's intel and voted to take action against Iraq.

8:16 - yes, my name is Rachel. You got it. Were you talking about another incident where four Americans lost their lives? You are obviously talking about Benghazi. What a joker. You're out of your league, Donnie.
