If the average couch potato has enough sense and enough reminders to cover exposed pipes if a hard freeze is coming; why not professional building maintenance personnel? Seems like a big miss to not be prepped to prevent that from happening; perhaps unusual or hidden circumstances contributed.

If a home water heater busted open and soaked the carpet, is the house ruined? Neither is Bridgeport's gym, despite headlines otherwise.

2:21pm. The underlayment soaked up the water, swelled up, and cracked and ruined the wood. Thanks for playing though.

1:07pm, I'm not sure, but would not be surprised if some "money-saving" measure involved turning off the heat to that part of the building.

Maybe now they will fix the bleachers in the old gym so that they can be rolled out to their full capacity. Or even better, go use the brand new gym at the Middle school. Its a lot better than the dump at the HS.
