The Most Epic Game In Decatur High School History

Decatur loses 82-73.  (Even made the Ticket's Ticker this morning.)

Sidenote: "Along with the win, Gerber [Levelland's quarterback] broke the Texas High School single-season passing touchdown record of 71 previously held by Shelton Eppler of Navasota, which he set in the state title game in 2014. It took Eppler 16 games to set his record, while Gerber — now at 73 total — surpassed the mark in 12 games.

Epic Loss!!!!!!!! The day you score 73 and lose...unbelievable. Fuller should have been canned on the bus ride home. The worst defensive performance in the history of Decatur football.

They should be playing 6 man.

They are too slow for six man. Six man requires speed and athleticism. From what I saw, this team has neither one.

Decatur makes the news for being losers. Sounds legit.

Decatur will always be a bunch of mama's boy, daddy's money losers! Can't win it all if your roster is decided by town politics and family influence instead of fielding the best athletes.

Good Grief...they had a great season. Stop your whining and congratulate them!

You would think with the money they are paying the coaches and spending on the program that their defense could produce a stop or two!
