I Don't Understand This At All

Then again, I didn't quite understand a devout Christian playing with Ted Nugent on Cat Scratch Fever:

Huckabee is a fruit loop for sure, but he has a point. Liberals are the biggest hypocrites when it comes to racism. They pick and choose which minorities to support based solely on politics...whichever group barks the loudest is their best friend!

The tweet was in response to the backlash he received when he perpetuated the stereotype that Asians eat their dogs.

How does any devout Christian align with Ted Nugent? By worshiping political ideology over the message of Christ.

9:11 - stereotype?

Dem debate = staged, fake, and phony on all accounts

Thank you for today's lesson.

So, if we disagree with someone, let's attack their character and past actions. Pay no attention to their message, just write them off as fakes and failures? If I judge him, especially for his judgements, I am just as guilty and like him, will reap what I sew.

If a professed Christian does something we consider wrong, don't pray for him and forgive him, just attack him and remind the world of his previous sins. Can I cast stones? Who gave me the right to judge him? I will not be made to answer for Huckabee's choices and actions, just my own.

From what I read, God used many sinful humans to accomplish His will, even non-believers. If we focus on their failures, there is a good chance we will miss the bigger picture, which is God's love, demonstrated by kindness, tolerance, patience, faithfulness, forgiveness and self-control. If we're not demonstrating these daily, we are probably outside the parameters of the Christian belief system.

I don't have to agree with his methods, behavior or message, but it's not my job to change him or condemn him. God doesn't need my help in that arena. He gave me a new commandment, and it's not an easy one. Most actions not motivated by love are not God's will, but our own. Hate the sin, love the sinner.

Judgement is a trap that creates pride. Pride eventually creates bondage of self importance and self righteousness. I become my own deity and crusade for self-serving ambitions. I am certainly thankful that unlike mankind, God has forgiven and forgotten my past and revealed the truth that allows me freedom from this self-destructive attitude.

Praying for our President is not easy for me, but I do it. Praying for those who wish to kill me is not easy, but I do it. Praying for those I disagree with is almost impossible, until I ask myself if I would rather be right or happy. In God's eyes, my opinion is not so important, especially if it doesn't align with His word and the reflection of His love.

How will man ever overcome pride, greed, anger, envy, lust, gluttony and sloth without God's grace, power and unfailing love? Since perfection is not an option, we must choose to reflect His love, which carries great power and blessings. We all have that choice.

History has shown that most crusaders end up with self-serving, self-promoting motives. I must remember that I may not be guilty, but I'm darn sure not innocent.

Matt. 7:15-23

15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them. 21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

Psalm: 137 Remember, Lord, what the Edomites did
on the day Jerusalem fell.
“Tear it down,” they cried,
“tear it down to its foundations!”
8
Daughter Babylon, doomed to destruction,
happy is the one who repays you
according to what you have done to us.
9
Happy is the one who seizes your infants
and dashes them against the rocks

Christian's will rise and Kill them all.

Lo Brethren, let the wine flow. Let good spirits abound among former foes. Let women partake and be accommodating. Enjoy the temple of the body and mind and be salubrious. Amen.

The Lyrics of Cat Scratch Fever might be interpreted to be about the joys of having sexual intercourse. Mike HucK might not have fully understood the message?
