Some People Have A Fear Of High Overpasses

This story will not alleviate those fears. (And, man, those are some high overpasses at I-35 and 820 in South Fort Worth. And by looking at the satellite image, I think he was on the highest one - westbound 20 to go southbound on 35.)

My palms get sweaty when I drive on that monster. Kinda like they get when I drive to the mountains in Colorado. Sheesh.

I had heard that on the 635 interchange in north Dallas, drivers were shooting into the upper windows of office buildings off the freeway.

WHAT was a 16 year old doing driving alone at 4:15 in the morning?

Mzchief's right (I cringed when I said that). Let's see--EJECTED out of the car = no seat belt fastened. And 4:15 a.m. coupled with 16 years old. Reminds me of what an experienced ex-police officer likes to say--"nothing good HAPPENS after midnight", which makes a lot of sense when you think a while on it. [Basically, anything unexpected that happens after midnight, usually ain't good.]

I just forwarded to my husband so I that I can say "I'm not crazy for being scared of that" and he'll have proof.

I have already gathered similar documentation to explain my fear of clowns and Republicans.

Mzcheif,

At first, I had the same question about the 16 year old boy, but perhaps he works a night-time job. I remember as a teen coming home at 3:00 in the morning lots of times after stocking freight at the grocery store. Also perhaps he was up early to go on a fishing trip or something. I made lots of those as a teen as well. Either way, this is very tragic. I'd can't imagine how his parents must feel.
