NBC's New Reality Show

The promo: "It's often said that love is blind... but is that really true? If given the chance to choose a woman in her 20s, or a 40-something on the prowl, will a man go for youth or maturity? More than just a dating competition, 'Age of Love' is a social experiment based on the question: When it comes to falling in love, does age really matter?"

The Hotties v. The Cougars. Let the cat fight begin.

Yeah, I love the laughable attempt at high-mindedness -- it's not about young hotties vs. cougars! no no no! it's ... ahh ... a social experiment! that's the ticket!

Another just plain stupid TV concept. I won't be watching.

Problem with this show is that the guy is only 30. So he likely has no clue as to why the older women would be far superior. Chances are all that he knows are women his age and younger. Would have been more interesting (granted the whole thing is dumb) if the guy would have been older than 40 something, so that he would have had some experience with both age ranges. Anyway, older is better.

6:48 It's an interesting take that "older is better", but far from automatic. I'll take the young hottie and "suffer" through the years until it gets really good.

i prefer younger, because she'll eventually get older anyway.

but, as Jay-Z says:

only 21 and older,
let another ____ mold 'er

You just had to throw in "on the prowl" when describing the 40-something, didn't ya?

I guess that would describe men and women, huh Bu-Bear?
