The only reason you or anyone should be scared of a Christian cross is because it reminds you of your eternal destiny without the work of the cross in your life.
Nope, wrong 5:39 -- I'd be scared of that truck because I'd be thinking (at best) "doesn't care too much about safe driving cause he's convinced HE'S goin to Heaven," and at worst (and more immediately & more likely), "aaagh! suicider!" Christian zealots like this are every bit as scary to me as their radical Muslim counterparts. And if you're tempted to tell me that ain't so, keep in mind that the radical Muslims think THEY'RE totally in the right and Doing God's Work, too ...
Hogwash! Those of you who believe in the religious hocus pocus - fine. Just leave the rest of us alone. We're living our lives as well as we can and not demanding that you follow any one of us.
Wow, glee, I'd hate to be in your shoes when God calls your number!Folks, it is COMPLETELY unfair to compare Christians to the terrorists that are out to destroy our world. The true message of the Bible is that "God so loved the world that He gave his only son (Jesus) to die on the cross for our sins." All you have to do is accept Jesus into your heart, truly confess your sins and honestly ask for forgiveness. The Lord will give you salvation, and He will send the Holy Spirit into your life to help guide you on your journey. On the flip side, the Bible also says that those who don't believe in the Lord will perish and be doomed to an eternity in Hell. It's not a pretty message, but it's the truth.Of course, there will be those of you who will ridicule me and this message, and I expect it. Go ahead. I still love all of you and want God's best for you.
I AM a Christian and still think that's pretty funny, BSG, in a "Christine" sorta way.
The only thing that would make that truck more funny would be a sight on the hood of the truck.
The world will end December 21 2012 at 11:11am so, I guess I'll miss my Banjo lesson.
Its the same as "non-christian" driving around with a bumper sticker on their vehicle.
To banjoman 8:39...*LOL*I doubt you EVER miss a "banjo lesson." *;)
I'll bet he can Drive the Hell outta that truck.
9:43...I would not ridicule you because of your beliefs, but I think you should not ridicule others because of their beliefs, just because yours are more popular here in the bible belt.(You began your post with ridicule of glee). I believe in God, but I do not like what the Christian right has done to this country...and yes Christians have killed in the name of religion for thousands of years, as well as Muslims. When the Christians that currently run this country will realize that Muslims believe just as strongly about their religion as Christians in this country do, maybe they will realize it was not too smart to start a holy war with the Muslim world. I think this is why glee (and I am not trying to speak for glee) fears Christian zealots, as many others in this country do.
That truck driver is just a fan of Hitchcock's "The Birds" movie. He is saying before we all get our eyes pecked out, pray to God. Because God isn't going to save you from those killer seagulls.
Hey, Glee and 10:49AM, When is the last time a bunch of your so-called Christian zealots blew up a building and killed 3000 innocent people? The only thing worse than these Islamic Fascists are stupid, naive liberals that have their heads so far up their butts they could not distinguish the difference between a nuclear bomb or a bad case of indigestion from eating too much tofu!
