I Always Make A Reference To This Scene . . .
. . . and end up hearing crickets chirping.
Example. Girl at the courthouse will tell me she had a fight with her boyfriend over the weekend but made up. I'll say, "Did he show up outside your window with a boom box over his head and Peter Gabriel playing?" Then . . . . awkward silence.

One of the most meaningful movie moments of all time for a 20 year old girl in the 80's. Gold, pure gold.
that was a great movie.
I was going to say that the girls you're pitching this to are too young to get it, but actually, no, I think there is absolutely no excuse for not getting this reference.
I don't care if you were born in 1992. You gotta see the classics. Next you're going to tell me you've never seen Caddyshack.
