Sheryl Swoopes, former Tech star and professional basketball player is ....what do you call it....er....
gay.
So is it genetic? She doesn't think so:
"I didn't always know I was gay. I honestly didn't. Do I think I was born this way? No. And that's probably confusing to some, because I know a lot of people believe that you are.
I've been married, and I have an 8-year-old son. Being with a man was what I wanted. When I got divorced in 1999, it wasn't because I'm gay. I'm three years older than my ex-husband, and I matured a lot faster than he did. "

She's just like Anne Heche. Well, except black, athletic, hasn't been abducted by aliens or dated Ellen....but other than that, yeah, exactly like Anne Heche.

Am I the only that ever questions the fact why we are born into a society, we never wanted to be born into. Into a society the forces you to obey laws, which the government does not obey. Am I the only one that sits here day after day feeling like a subservient brainwashed monkey for having to listen to Bush's antics on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on. Who rules the rulers? It makes you think about the whole checks and balances system, what if they are corrupt? Why do people think that their government will take care of all their needs? They continue living their daily lives without a worry. Almost like our government is perfect or something. I am tired of people that base our government off of the bible. It may be partly based on Christianity, but like everything else our government must be a huge sinner. And just like a murderer about to be put to death he is forgiven on his death bed, to have himself "saved" so he can go to heaven, that is what our government reminds me of. You may question the fact. Why don't you just leave? Well. It is not that easy, I would rather act like our forefathers and protest against the corruption and the demoralization of our society. Why run, when we can protest peacefully without violence-letting the government show how callous it is.
don't leave 11:54. have your protest but make sure you are consistent in your protests. the democrats are the people i most often hear telling me i should rely on the government for what i need, that i don't need to stand on my own two feet. i'm not here to tell you the republicans are any better. i like bush much more than i liked clinton but i don't feel either one represents me very well. our press doesn't help much either. so keep protesting and maybe one day we will have a fair government. for me, that would be one that didn't rule against my morals and christian values. it would probably be different for you so you and i will always have something to protest.
Hey you folks who want your "Christian values" upheld, how about forgiveness and loving (at least tolerating) your neighbor - whether they are black, red, Chinese, Buddhist, Muslim or any other color or religion? I'll grant you your beliefs, but you may not impose them on me or others.
Sigh...another pro-athlete who has had more women than me.
Does she have a Liquer license?
