Who should really care what his name is - the facts indicates that he was involved in hyping up causes to invade Iraq. This includes Cheney, Wolfowitz, Rumsfeld, Tenet and others. They gave the president and the Congress slanted information that led to questionable decisions. The invasion occurred, many Americans and Iraqis have died to what end? More terrorism, more deaths and possibly less security for the USA. Libby is NOT the only culprit in this deception. When are the rest of them going to be called before juries?
This scandal far exceeds Clinton personal sexual problems and even Nixon transgressions. Many need to go to trial - and serve significant time if convicted.
The picture is some what reminiscent(sp?) of the old "Deer in the headlights". He knows and sees what is coming, he just can't believe it is happening to him! 2-1 says Shrub will throw him a lifeline before it is all said and done!
For what it's worth - he got the nickname from his parents when he was crawling - they say he really "scooted" around. Now he's the first in maybe several neocons pulled into the overhype for war in Iraq. If he's convicted, I expect the self-rightous Bush will pardon him. No pardons for those 2,000+ killed in Iraq due to their over-eager war against the wrong country. Remember the Osama guy who actually attacked us?
