- Good catch by Wise County Scanner. Wood was sentenced to life in prison in August, 2022 for shooting and injuring officer Rex Richie with the Rhome PD. Wood is now dead.

- Legal stuff: A few months back, Keller ISD was sued for having only at-large school board seats instead of single member districts. The was thrown out by a Fort Worth federal judge. But this is the first time I saw wherthe judge ordered the lawyer for the Plaintiff to get hit with big attorney's fees. He's now appealing. Gift link
