This was near Lockhart and was caused when the balloon hit an electrical line. It was, and still is, the deadliest ballooning disaster to ever occur in the United States.
- The big news over the weekend was a mass shooting in Idaho. Lots of videos of the gunman, as well as a civilian returning fire, are everywhere online. The shooter died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
- Meanwhile, in New York . . .
- It took three years to make an arrest (and not yet an indictment) in this IV treatment death in Freestone County?
- And another.
- I can't tell you how outrageous this is. How many times did Trump and Jeanine Pirro, as well as others in the administration, tell us this guy was guilty beyond a reasonable doubt? They will lie to you about anything and everything.
- Late last night, Todd Blanche put in writing that the will not be a slush fund for the January 6th Insurrectionists (despite settlement documents that are already signed committing the government to do just that.) And Trump still gets immunity from tax audits worth $100 million which was also part of that settlement.
- Trump blamed the Governor of Minnesota for the hacks on Friday. Really.
- Trump had a wild weekend.
- He posted 43 times from Saturday morning to afternoon and almost all of them were crazy images that would get past presidents hospitalized for a mental health emergency. This is a tame one:
- Then on Saturday night he took a break just to make up news about the Iraq war.
- And then he got up and golfed the next day in his own tournament and claimed to have shot a 70 win it.
- He really said that in his "I will not quit" speech yesterday:
- Let's check in on the Austin swamp:
- CBS desperately will use any reason to get out of Romo's contract -- a contract which calls for him to receive $72 million over the next four years,
- Flock cameras sure are making a lot of news:
- See . . .
