The lead?? What do you expect from a society of people who are tired of the craziness associated with the border as well as the problems caused by illegal immigrants. Hey, I have empathy for those folks wanting a better life in our country but that is not the issue. Never went for Sheriff Joe's shtick. Give me a sheriff of few words, but big pistols. Plus Sheriff Joe has gotten a little wacko in recent years. Remember his deputy plundering through a defense attorney's private notebook while court was in session this past year? Joe thought that was a-ok. Unreasonable search & seizure? Nope, no 4th or 14th amendments in his copy of the Constitution.

What I don't understand is...back in the 60's and 70's, Wise county citizens were BRINGING the folks here so they could work on thier dairies, farms, etc. Some of the employers even helped them buy homes and get citizenship.
