And a Wise County jury is deliberating punishment on the Intoxication Manslaughter case right now. Edit: He received 20 years. The maximum. (The prosecutor asks for no less than 12.)

Dumbass jury. I guess they didn't imagine hard enough.
If it is true that Larry Harris and his friend took Angela to Larry's house to keep the cops from seeing him drunk and she died there, then justice has been lawfully and morally served!!! Wonder if the friend was prosecuted as an accomplice? If not, he should have been. Harris should have been charged with murder and received a life sentence. Amazing you think without all the facts. Thanks to the jurists for serving and makeing the right decision.
If I thought Stobaugh was guilty, I would have given him life. you're right 10:27, guess the jurists didn't imagine hard enough. Hope it get repealed. What a farce!
If I ever get arrested for something, and there's a trial, please don't comment on it in the blog. Your coverage is the guarantee of a guilty verdict. Defense attorneys should pay you not to discuss their cases. You're blog is the Madden NFL of criminal cases. (Okay, I'm done.)
How can you convict a man of "intoxicated" manslaughter and give him the max sentence, with no "proof" of a intoxication, and no proof that he was the driver? Where is the other guy that was involved? What does he get? Is he walking the streets? Is he a risk? Does not seem fair to me!!!
Karma gets everybody. If he wasn't he convicted of this, he would have been convicted of something later such as...oh, stealing his beloved trophies or whatever. He killed her. She didn't just vaporize from his house. And refusing to let them search??? Coincidence, I think not.

10:38, If what you say is true, than YES, he got what he deserved..
Where is the body/proof she was murdered again? Bad Denton Co jury, bad!
It is amazing that someone can be convicted with no viable proof. It's even more amazing that so many people think that it is a good thing.
12:24, schadenfreude

12:24. You will learn after reading this blog that many on it are holier-than-thou a**holes who are always on the side of the prosecution.
OK, now that it's over someone please tell us what evidence was used to convict this man.
We are crazy absolutely crazy to tolerate this kind of craziness.
It COULD be you
Which man? Denton county or Wise county?
3:42 I think she was referring to the Denton county no body man, as I am sure they had enough on the drunk in Wise county.
Why on earth do you people think that there MUST be a body to prove murder? Sheesh. . .
You were wrong on both trials. Maybe you SHOULD quit your day job.

Waited 7 years to take to trial???? He should have had 7 years taken off of his sentence.

Insane
The insanity here is not guilty or not guilty verdict...its the time it took to decide. 7 years...really? I guess it was on the back burner.
