- What I beating. The final score was 45-10. It could have been 100-10.
- Baylor's coach Art Briles was quoted after the game saying, "I feel embarrassed for Baylor University." Preach on, bruther.
- I still don't know if Baylor is awful or TCU is great, or both.
- I've watched every Baylor game over the last two decades and I never remember any team scoring five TDs on their first five possessions. That was a beating of biblical proportions.
- We parked at the Colonial Country Club thinking we could take a shuttle. (I did that a couple of years ago but forgot I had an invitation to a party nearby where wristbands were handed out for shuttle service.) Feeling uneasy, I asked a guy walking by if this was "public parking". He told me, "No, it's for Colonial members only." That doesn't sound bad, but he said it in a tone just like Judge Smails in Caddyshack. I almost started laughing.
- Mrs. LL will walk forever and love it and not even think about complaining. Me likey.
- We left in the second quarter. The second quarter!!!! We weren't alone.
- After TCU quickly went up 14-0, I turned to Mrs. LL and said, "You have no idea how long I've suffered."
- TCU fans do not taunt. As much as they've been beating their chest over the last few years, they are gracious winners.
- As I type this, I'm watching the final moments of Tech losing to the Empire 24-14. Sorry, but Mike Leach's Raiders would have won that going away.
- And Mac Engel at the Star-Telegram is a fraud. (Trust me, I follow his lame Twitter posts.) There is no such thing as a $15 ticket.

I'm telling you TCU is the real deal. They need a spot in a bigger conference where they would get the respect they deserve. And yes, TCU fans have class.
GO FROGS!
I heard Mike Leach is calling games for CBS. I wonder how many pirate references he works in? That would be a great drinking game!
TCU is great. Period. I hope you have a new found appreciation for our Frogs!
Bridgeport's Colin Jones did very well today.
GO FROGS!!!
Baylor is that good!
I taunt.
I have no class.
You know how I feel.
Enough said.
You are right Barry, Leach would have coached through the Horns rather handily.
I think part of the problem is that we Tech fans got spoiled with the great run of QBs we had over the past few years. And Potts (and Sheffield, for that matter) ain't one of them!

(longsuffering Tech fan)
Leach may have been a good coach with strategy, but he was a loser as a man who has character! Glad he's gone!
They had $15 tickets that were "standing room only", which were supposed to be for the endzone areas. Most of us just ended up in the student section though.
Leach would have definitely won. I hated that Tech let him go. But that is over, and Tuberville deserves some time, I guess....
What I learned yesterday is that Tech & UT both would get their butts handed to them by TCU. Tech's defense is really looking good, but the O has fallen off the planet.
leach TT would have won for sure. neither team had an offense.
LMAO at all the Techies who claim Leach would have won had he been there.
Okay...Place those same two teams back out there, but with Leach at the helm and tell me 5 things Leach would have done different to change the outcome. Just 5.
Sorry... Tech's O just did not match up to Texas' D.
Double Fake Not a Raider Homer
Ok 9:14, I don't really need 5 things, just one thing....he would have put more points on the board than Texas. Tech's O didn't match up for a reason and it wasn't just talent it was the system. Leach had a system where you could take less talent and beat a Texas or Ok...but I have to agree that Tuberville is much more Spike Dikesy, I am sure the good ol' boys will love him and all 6 wins a season.
I really liked it how the announcers took every opportunity to bash Leach, and tout Tuberville. It wasn't the usual banter about old coach vs new coach, they really went after Leach's character and I thought that was uncalled for.
Okay Devil, and just what, pray tell, would Leach have done with that team to put more points on the board? Tech was outmatched on the line and are clearly down at qb with Potts at the helm. Sheffield maybe can run the ball a bit more, but can he throw? And these are both Leach guys, remember?
How many times did Tech throw out of the spread on Saturday? A bunch. How many times did they run the ball? Not much.
We need to quit worrying about Leach and start worrying about recruiting for next year. Our D was okay but not great. I think that was cause Gilbert is a rookie and Texas tried to run the ball too much to a fault.
In the end we got beat just a little less than shouda cause Texas O played bad.
To say Leach's spread offense would be the same as the one you saw Saturday is a stretch. Texas is stacked on D, able to get pressure on Potts often on Sat., lots of slow developing mid to long range throws dialed up by Neal Brown, never really adjusted during the game. Didn't run a lot of blitz beaters. I did however think this was a very beatable Texas team even with the talent difference. Potts and Sticks are both Leach guys as you mentioned, but were recruited to play a different system and we know Potts at least was very effective in Leach's system.
I am not really worried about Leach being gone he just made college FB in TX that much more interesting, he was a wild card, not your typical run of the mill Good ol' boy coach. TT is never going to out recruit UT, that is just a fact, and I appreciated the program Leach put together where you could beat a big name program every now and then and do it with less talent. College FB doesn't have enough coaches like Leach.
