Doesn't look like the damn kid is in there.

Had a bad feeling about that- it was known he climbed into it but, none of the dozens of aircraft tracking it reported signs of life inside.

Did they find any illegal Aliens on board?

This is probably either a publicity stunt or the boy was murdered by the parents.

Anyone with a basic understanding of physics would realize there is not enough volume inside a balloon that small for it to lift the weight of a kid. It's not big enough.

the family is used to media coverage....think it was just a stunt....since junior let the balloon go, why not cash in on it...probably got a pat on the back instead of an *ss whoopin

Sadly, nobody in law enforcement or otherwise associated with this event had the sense to realize that a helium balloon that size could never, ever lift a six year old off the ground....we are a stupid society.

It's called an "aircraft" by the media? Seriously? I guess the kids at Chuck E. Cheese all leave with "aircraft" on strings after a party.

Oh no, oh no! My daughter is "missing"!!!!!! She was last seen in the backyard with the dogs, but now she's missing. Call out the National Guard and CNN; put out an Amber Alert, and then after all that I'll go look around the house to see if she's actually home. Oh yeah, stop the presses, she's in her room...never mind.
