Deadly highway!

10:00, Deadly County! I noticed that the exit from US287 onto SH114in Rhome has two-way traffic on the service road but no signage at the exit indicating that. Top that off with the lane markings being deteriorated and we have death waiting to happen. I have seen confused out of state drivers exiting there and driving on the wrong side of the service road (or are they on the wrong side since it is not marked). Wise County TXDOT office is incompetent. How many people has this incompetence killed?

If people would slow down.....

It is not a deadly highway. ANY strip of pavement, straight, wide, narrow or curved; can be deadly when tires blow, drivers are drunk, drivers are doing something besides driving, or drivers are not driving safely based on conditions, etc. etc. Have yet to have a highway jump up and wreck me or anyone I know.

I'm sorry, 11:28, perhaps you don't understand figurative language. When many people are killed on a certain road or highway, it is a widely known expression to say "deadly highway" referring to the many lives lost on said road/highway.

So glad I do not live with you.

11:47 I did not see anywere in 11:28 comment asking you to live with him or her which ever the case.

Were Drugs or Alcohol involved?

12:12, I didn't see that either. Did I say I did? I'm just stating that I am glad I do not live with that person who seems to take everything literally. Now I'll add, I'm glad I do not live with you either since you seem to be a bit on the snide side!

380 is a lot better than it used to be. It would be even safer if people drove the speed limit instead of above it and quit texting or phone yammering while driving. The road isn't that bad anymore, not like it was 15 years ago. If people would just pay attention, it wouldn't be that bad.

Why can't we all just get along.

Why wasn't the constable patrolling 380 like he's paid to do?

1:02, there were no patrols out because law enforcement are in the donut shope waiting for the sun to come out. With this long wet spell you can bet they will be playing catch-up when the sun does come out. I've noticed that happens.

Yesterday afternoon there were two DPS officers working between Denton Creek and Imperial fabrication. One had a car pulled over, the other running the radar.
