Not one to spend time in jail, I had assumed this sort of thing happens there. That's why I don't want to go to jail. I don't condone the deputy's actions, rather I fear them. I hear we treat prisoners (terrorists) at Guantanamo Bay better. Ergo, better to be a terrorist than a 15 year old felon?

What's the problem? Sometimes men have to beat up girls to make themselves feel tough.
Maybe he's mad beacause the economy's in the crapper. Either way, beating up 15 year old girls if you're a big burly dude in a position of authority is always justifiable.
P.S. He's also killed two people in the line of duty. Sometimes you have to do that in order to relieve stress. Being a cop is a stressful job.

It DOES like a "leetle" overboard for a shoe being kicked off and touching (not even hitting hard) his shin area!!
She should put in for a transfer to Guantanamo Bay... where they treat people like human beings.
Or maybe let's just send the Gitmo detainees to this jail. Wouldn't the world be outraged if it were a Muslim he attacked? The jailer would get 10 years, minimum!
Are we going to have a major national revolt everytime a teenager in jail spits on, throws something at, or makes a move on a cop and gets the rough treatment? Do we really have time for the hundreds of episodes each day on this? Smashing into cars to steal them, and pointing guns at old ladies at stop signs, grabbing them by the hair and tossing them out onto the concrete and taking their car gets you into the "you deserve what you get" category...you give up your "teenage girl" status after grand theft auto. What we need is a little vid clip of her doing the crime, too. Who did she bang without remorse or cause????
Actually, we do need protection against 15 year old girls...when they steal cars, sell drugs, break into houses, etc.

If that video is accurate, there is no doubt that type of abuse of power deserves a serious take down. It would be justice if the cop would end up in prison as someone's bitch.

This is what happens on when a 15 YO does not respect the law. Truthfully, if this happened every time a teenager got booked the prison system would have a lot less to deal with.
That being said, if you are a cop and you can't control your actions when a smart aleck teenager starts running her mouth, you don't deserve to carry handcuffs and should be locked up for a day or two.

I support our law enforcement 100%. But this video is unacceptable behavior.

That is a very disturbing video to say the least. Ther's nothing worse than a smartassed teenager who has no respect. If I was in her position it would be "yes sir/ no sir".
I bet she thinks twice about doing something that gets her sent back to that place. She's lucky that's all she got! She got off easy.

Isn't there something to be said about the other deputy who sat back and watched the guy do this? I know she was in jail but doesn't this go against the law's motto to serve and PROTECT? Looked more like the ring at the UFC championship.

I was in law enforcement for 26 years and never, I repeat never did I see anything as wrong as what these two men did in the video.

Why is everyone so interested in finding someone to BLAME? I think they both need to held responsible for their behavior individually. And personally, I'll be Damned if anyone besides me is gonna lay a hand on my teenager like that! Screw the court system, that officer would answer to me first. Just because he has a gun and cuffs doesn't stop me from expressing my first amendment right to give him a piece of my mind. No one deserves to be abused, I don't care what they have done. Two wrongs don't make it right.
